I would like to know the very basics, but most apps are jumping to sentences very quickly. It’s not that i don’t understand, but i would like to know how to communicate better! (most apps need premium subscriptions for in detail content..) For lack of better word, i would like to answer questions. I can tell someone my name in mandarin, but not the color of my hair. I can say what i like to drink, but not my favorite food. (i hope this makes sense lol.)

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about using SuperChinese to practice Mandarin and would love to hear your experiences. Is it effective for learning vocabulary and grammar. Also, is the paid version worth it or is the free version enough? Any honest feedback or alternative recommendations would be really helpful. I'm happy to share the Chinese words I learned today! - 会 (huì): Can (a learned skill) - 说 (shuō): To speak - 写 (xiě): To write - 读 (dú): To read - 汉字 (Hànzì): Chinese characters - 不 (bù): Not 我会说汉语。I can speak Chinese. 我的妈妈不会说汉语。 my mother can not speak chinese 他会写汉字。 he can write Chinese characters 他会读汉字很好。He can read Chinese characters very well.
