Mills mess
Last night I started trying to learn Mills Mess. Any tips would be appreciated

That's pretty good if you've only just started learning it. I've really struggled with Mills Mess (I've been learning it for well over a month and it's still not right!). I've tried all the different ways of learning it (windmill was a good place to start, but in the end I broke down the individual throws). I'm getting there, but it still feels (and looks) awkward. I'm aware the balls are often not thrown in quite the right place (particularly the under arm is going straight up rather than landing in the middle, but the others aren't consistent either)... I'm hoping practice will improve things... but if anyone can point out if I'm doing anything else wrong I'd appreciate it! This video shows several of today's attempts (some are worse than others!) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/efwtrYg8Jn8

What are some good juggling balls

Hi, I have Playjuggling balls (I like the half filled soft shell balls, 75cm) and Henry's half filled (sand) balls (67cm). They are all great to juggle with and are supposedly pretty much indestructible (from normal juggling anyway!). The half filled means they don't roll away so far when you drop them, so great for practice (and they look and feel good). Both of these makes are EU produced (Play is Italian and Henry's are German) so possibly expensive to buy depending on where you live (I've bought them directly from the companies but you can find them elsewhere). Taylor Tries juggling has a youtube video on the different type of balls (pros and cons) which is quite useful

That's fantastic and great value too! Just a quick note to say the email I received ("Awesome! You're in now." invites you to "start by replying to this email" but the address the email comes from is <noreply@merchantsupport.io>. My courses haven't unlocked yet, but I'm still working through the beginner tricks so there's no hurry!

Sorry I wasn't able to make it! I hope I can make next week's meeting. This week I learned the reverse cascade (it took a couple of days of colliding balls, but I got there! evidentually). Trying to learn the cross armed cascade today (getting there). 😁
Hello from France
I can do some basic tricks (half shower, shower etc). I learned to juggle 30 years ago but stopped juggling for some reason. Taken it up again recently to try and help keep my brain and body active, and help with anxiety and depression. I've always wanted to learn Mikes Mess (I could never work it out back in the day - pre-YouTube you had to stare at diagrams in books and try to work it out, or borrow grainy VHS videos from your mates!), but there are a lot in the basic videos I don't know so I'm looking forward to watching them and learning some new things.

Almost 55. Learned to juggle aged 22 but stopped for a long while. Relearning to help keep my brain and body active!
