I tried listing a product and got error code 5886 saying: “You cannot change a product detail page, or add offers on another seller’s generic product…” But the listing actually shows a real brand, not a generic brand. Why would Amazon flag it as generic? Is there anything I can do to still list and sell this product? Has anyone dealt with this before?

Hello all. So today out of know where 3 out of 4 of my SKUs I had sent to Amazon got gated and now I cannot sell them again, but in the meantime, also many other ungated products that I wanted to sell have become gated. I have also ordered around $3000 for a product that I want to resell and it’s on the way, but now it has become gated & I don’t know what to do with it when those products arrive since they all have become gated !? What do you all advise me? Why has this happened? Your opinion matters here the most! Curious how you guys usually liquidate inventory that stops selling or gets stranded. Do you use eBay, Facebook Marketplace, liquidators, or something else? What’s worked best for you?
