@Melissa Hicks Both Tennessee and Mississippi use criminal law and criminal rule for traffic tickets, so through multiple valid well settled cases, Federal courts will not interfere with criminal proceedings initiated in state courts.

@Madison Peppers Thank you for sharing your concern about your brother's situation. Sadly, this is happening all over this country, and our efforts here is to educate as many as possible to stand up (in courts) to get redress. We focus on constitutional education and scholarship here, rather than directing members to outside resources or individual advisors. We have no idea over other people's efforts without seeing their court filings to ensure everyone receives consistent, well-researched information within our educational framework. For members facing legal situations, we encourage: 1) Unlearn information from TV, Movies or online gurus that can't show you their public record cases. 2) Massive action in learning everything possible. ** You're compressing expertise that would cost $400,000-$500,000 to hire for one year (minimum $177K for law school plus $200K-$350K to contract an attorney with 3 years of federal constitutional litigation experience) into whatever statute of limitations applies to your situation (often 12 months for §1983 claims). ** 3) Asking questions here where our community can discuss the educational aspects together. - If your brother has educational resources or insights about constitutional principles, we'd welcome him joining our community (it's free) to participate in discussions here, where everyone can benefit from shared learning in a structured environment. This approach keeps our community safe, legally compliant, and focused on education rather than case-specific advice. **What we provide here:** - Constitutional foundations and principles - Case law analysis and research methods - Document templates and filing procedures - Community review of strategies and arguments - Support from others on the same learning journey **What we don't provide:** - Referrals to outside "experts" or advisors - Legal advice for specific cases - Guarantees of outcomes - Shortcuts around the hard work of learning
Help Shape Our Paid Membership (Quick 2-Minute Poll)
You've been part of our Constitutional Education Community, and I want to hear directly from YOU about what would be most valuable in a paid membership tier. I'm designing exclusive training and support options, and before I pour a ton more effort into solutions that I wish I had years ago, I would like to know what would genuinely help each of you succeed. This is your opportunity to share your priorities. We are committed to building a system to empower the people to be competent in law and procedure, and that starts with each of your own internal assessment of where you are and where we can help. Thank you for being a part of this effort. In the service of truth and justice, Bill and Tracy PS: Even if you're not planning to or currently unable to join our paid content right now, please vote and comment. Your input helps us serve the entire community better, and you'll get founding member pricing when we launch.

@Madison Peppers Ideally, once you reach competence, then you will be able to properly interview attorneys to see if they are competent. And you can choose if you wish to give limited POA for maybe depositions only.

@Madison Peppers kidnapping has specific elements and one element is to conceal the location of the minor from the world, so all you have to do to beat a kidnapping charge is to tell someone who the child is and where the child is. The other parent does not have to be told but someone has to be told. Very just and righteous causes lose. The US courts have been and always will be based on who is better at law and better at procedure. For me and my wife our choice was to spend years learning and failing in courts to find what works. This is not to discourage you but to make sure you know that the federal filing fee is the cheapest and easiest part of all of this.
Arnold v. Guntown Partial Summary Judgement 140 days
Update: No change and it has been 140+ days since the PSJ service was effected. Guntown counsel received the PSJ on 6/9/2025, and Tracy's reply to Defense's response was received by the court on 7/1/2025. There are 3 motions pending before Sr District Judge Davidson. I have paid some PACER fees to unlock the filings through RECAP/Courtlistener, so others can review and comment if y'all like. https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/69650770/arnold-v-city-of-guntown/

@Vasislav Damenliev yep, it's a mix of delay tactics, incompetence, laziness, litigating meritless cases, settlement avoidance, court limited resources, etc
