I'm looking to make presentation-type YouTube videos. What are the best tools/apps/software to achieve this?

The All In podcast is a podcast with 4 billionaires. In one of their recent episodes they said: "In the future ALL Marketing and Advertising will be spent on Content Creation." They believe traditional business like McDonalds will fail. And be replaced by Creator led businesses, like MrBeast Burger. They also said: "In 20 years, 90% of business will be around personal brands." Crazy, right? And to remind you... These guys are billionaires. With jets, yachts, and wildly successful companies. More successful than Hormozi, Sam Ovens, Graham Stephan, or whichever other business guy you like. So when they say Content is the future, we should listen to them. And now that I think about it... Even Elon Musk, the richest man on earth, still believes creating content is a valuable use of his time. And just think about how valuable his time is. If what these guys are saying is true... This is the opportunity of our lifetime. And we're still the early adopters.

funfact, in my country there is even a bank that created an influencer, to represent them, blue haired futuristic girl and I saw her in every ad, then I checked out her IG and turns out she has 200 followers, so my idea is that they just hired a random person to represent them as an influencer I don't think companies like McDonalds will be replaced by MrBeast burger, rather I think in the future McDonalds will spend more time on having partnership with creators and they will have not just a person but a group of famous people representing them

Hello Everyone, I finally made the shift from "I want to upload a video to youtube" to "How can I improve my next one?" @Andrew Kirby convinced me almost a year ago, that I need to share the lessons I've learned with the world . But I was too scared to put myself out there. Then, when I decided to finally do it, it was too complicated from a technical point of view and I learned a lot about filming and editing. After hitting the "publish" button yesterday, all my fears and anxieties went away and I felt relieved. I know it's not the best video and it's painful for me to even watch it 😅 but I'm proud of myself that I did this 😊 I didn't share it with my family or my friends .. I wanted to only share it with a community like you who would understand what's it like to overcome all these mental and technical obstacles. So Kindly take a look and tell me honestly what you think 😇 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQlrE5PbrNs&t=81s Obai

welcome Obai, its always great to see, when a new synthesizer starts his journey

hey guys, so I need some help and thought this will be a great place to ask it, I have low energy, and I just don't understand why, because logically it feels like I do everything right: - I have 8-9 hours of sleep every day - I go to the gym 3x a week for one hour - I go cycling in nature for 30 minutes every day - I try to eat healthy (no seed oil, sugars, or processed food) - my room has a lot of windows, so I got sunlight in the morning - I don't use any electronics 1 hour before bed and have blue light blockers here is what my day looks like: I wake up at 7 am, sit down in front of my computer work till 12, then I eat my first meal, (so I intermittent fast 16:8) after it I go back and work. at 2 pm I go to the gym, at 3 pm I go cycling and after it, I usually do some work outside for an hour, then I'm in front of my computer till 9 pm, I turn it off and go to sleep at 10 pm I'm a noob when it comes to high performance and energy optimization, but if anyone has solved this problem, and has some expertise in this field, I would love to hear your advice these are my ideas on why I have low energy: - I spend too much time in front of my computer - I only eat 2 meals a day (btw I usually feel this tiredness afternoon) - maybe not enough water? - lack of supplements? - my diet is not good enough, thinking of changing to a carnivore fruit diet also, I don't drink coffee only some green tea sometimes and I meditate, journal, and read before bed, Idk if this helps

I want to thank everyone for commenting, I got 60+ replies, and I have to be honest, I haven't had time to go thru all of them, but will do slowly! currently what helped, is drinking a big glass of water first thing in the morning morning walks and waking up consistently (by using my sunlight alarm clock)

Summarise in 1 sentence what you've learnt in Synthesizer Skool. I'll start in the comments

Feel free to roast me. The title will be something along the lines of: My 17 Idols/ Mentors At 17 Years Old Which idea do you like the most? (I know they need work. They're not finished) The first one is supposed to symbolise them showing me the way to success + me being inspired (photo probably needs retaking) The second one was to keep it simple and add a bit of mystery The third one is supposed to symbolise a meeting with them (circle of mentors idea)

@Jeff Harrison what was the name of the course?

A few months ago something clicked in my head, and I understood the severity of the 'disjointed knowledge problem'. I recall painful years of grind and struggle, trying to avoid the shitty life I was on the trajectory towards. Yet no matter how hard I tried, I made no progress. It felt like something was stopping me. I now see that the thing stopping me wasn't external. It was internal. I didn't have the knowledge needed to understand which causes would lead to the effect I so desired. That caused me to waste a lot of time making no progress. And I can see clear pivot points in my life after consuming certain pieces of content. There's an obvious before/after, once someone had imparted their knowledge onto me. So why is there not a better, more efficient way to provide life-changing knowledge to the right people at the right time!? The internet has provided us the technology needed for this to happen. If someone knows the solution to a problem that I have, and the internet has provided the tech needed for that solution to be shared, WHY do I not know about it? Why are there billions of people suffering from problems that have simple solutions? I tried playing my part to solve this by creating my own YouTube channel. If it took me 10 months to learn a lesson, and I could share that with people in 10 minutes, what more value can I bring to this earth? But I soon realised that I was not enough. I don't know everything. In fact, I possess an infinitesimally small amount of the world's knowledge. That's why I created Synthesizer Skool. And I'm incredibly excited to announce we've just hit 1,000 members. Together, we have an absurd amount of power. And if we leverage that power in the right directions, I really believe we can make some magic. This might sound too hypey, but The Synthesizer Revolution is here! EDIT: We've now hit 2,000 members! Read my post about it here: https://www.skool.com/synthesizers/impact-income-fun

its because he only gives 2/3 of the topic away in the video and says, that the real key is in the next video so you keep watching and its generates him a huge session time, and it makes the channel/videos goes viral this is why he recommends that before you start to make a video, have a video that you can refer your viewers to

I wrote a great newsletter today to my subscribers, so I wanted to share it with you guys We all know these people, who doesn't want to face reality, so they make up lies about it I cant make money, and become rich, so every rich person is evil I'm not fat, I'm just plus sized I have ADHD so my procrastination cant be cured all these people just got lucky courses are scam These type of people actively shooting in foot themselves or try to lower others, so they will feel better but why? because their ego cant handle reality, cant handle the truth, that they fucked up these people are at a different level of procrastination, they not just avoid the task, but they avoided it for so long, that they started to convince themselves, that taking action would be actually bad just think about how fucked up this is ... examine your life, is there any field where you do the same? were you lying to yourself? probably you believe that you are better then you actually are or that you know more then you actually know spend a few minute examining your life today, because maybe you will find out something interesting See you soon

@Juan Carlos Recalde made a post about the brutality of youtube. he is right. YT is brutal. I went down a rabbit hole of watching "how to make it on YT content" and I wrote down 10 pages of notes. There were a few top things. I share it with all of you in this video: https://www.loom.com/share/a91e0a7e5c1546338750ab87c8bc8d7f

The biggest one is great video ideas, you can have the best title, best-edited video, and best story about someone famous, but if the idea sucks the whole video will be bad, this is why MrBeast says, that people should spend much more time brainstorming about ideas because this will determine if a video gets 3 or 30 million views, but we can talk more about this on our call

Thought it might be good to have a thread for those who are focusing on Twitter... I will do YT in the future and I do LI for work... But I wanted to get started in a medium that was written so I have started with Twitter. Is anyone else currently taking on synthesizing on Twitter? If so, let's chat...

@Corey Bennett Boardman thats a great advice Corey, if I will decide in the future that I want to take this video editing more seriously, then I will definitely do this

  • 2 likes • 14d

@Andrew Kirby I completely agree, the truth it that my plan is not really to make it as an editor, rather to just makes some money on the side, till I build up my channel, but this sales video stuff sounds interesting, if I will take this seriously I think I would also go down this road here is a sales letter I made under a day

"Remember that the actions you take today wont produce the rewards you receive today. Learn to see the long-term cause/effect relationships and weigh your decisions to favor the long-term over the short-term." I needed to hear this today

@Saqib Rasool now I added 2 things (15 minutes of morning walk and a glass of water with a pinch of sea salt), but the idea behind this post is still the same, some people have a 1-2 hour long morning routine, and at the end, they didn't even do the main thing

I asked Midjourney, an AI artist neural network to draw a picture of Synthesizer Skool. I typed: synthesis, ideas, content creation, videos, posts, texts, learning, community --ar 16:9 Here's the result. Enjoy!

Do you struggle with youtube addiction? I did too, this is the method that made me break free from 6h of daily youtube just follow these simple action steps: 1. Download Unhook in the settings only enable the comments and the subscriptions feed 2. Unfollow everyone 3. Open a notes app and write down every Youtuber that provides value to you, stick to 25-50 people 4. Download Youtube-shorts block this will only let you watch shorts in standard video format, no shorts mode 5. (Optional) Download Mindful internet use and add youtube and other distracting sites, use the 10s mode with 3 reps 6. Delete Youtube from your phone (you will only use it for productive procrastination and not for learning) ----------------------- How to use youtube in the right way: - if you need to watch a video search for it - if you want to watch videos, check your subscription feed and the watch later feed, in this case, you will limit yourself to that 1h of new video that is there, and you won't browse mindlessly, (this will help you with just watching enough videos and not having the urge to turn off the extension) BONUS: - Time-block your calendar and have clarity about what you need to do - Find a purpose and work on it and don't get caught up in the productive procrastination trap

Just released my latest video and it's one of my favourite's so far. I really tried to lean into "Edu-tainment" as Ed from Film Booth talks about, and I also tried to simultaneously hit the search algorithm as well as the general YouTube algorithm. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, I'll actually be surprised if it doesn't at least perform above average for me, as I feel like I've applied a lot of good lessons for this video. Would greatly appreciate some feedback if you have the time :)

@Jamie Barclay hmm good question, maybe I would even think about remaking the whole thumbnail because you have those videos of your younger self in the video, maybe they could work better on the thumbnail, but just an idea also here are my reaction and small feedback to the video: https://www.loom.com/share/2f690edd734f4363aec409d7b84cd695 https://www.loom.com/share/c9d645efba224219b9a57f0876d5bae0 btw this video has a Life Is Strange vibe for me, even the story is similar but with the characters from the second one

It's been 2 months since I logged into skool. Dang, I'm bad. And boujee. Everytime I typed "s" in my URL, it would autofill https://www.skool.com/synthesizers. And so I kept tabs as we went past 2K members. Y'all been spitting fire out here. Synthesizer Skool is easily a top 3 resource for creating purposefully. While I was away from Skool - 1. Caught up with my Synthesizer friends a bunch @Siebren de Vos @Benedek Santa @Arjun Khemani @Sathya S @Mia Cardenas @Connor Widmaier @Callum Rylance @Daniel Reynolds @Tibor Zoltán Rudolf @Jack Mielke (dang there's so many incredible connections I've made here, sorry if I'm missing your name). 2. Started a permission-less project for @Andrew Kirby (DM'd you the link). Andrew shared a crazy good idea about a self-guided library where people can find solutions (eg: resources, videos, products) for specific problem statements (eg: building a writing habit, endless idea generator, creating high CTR thumbnails, community building). If you have suggestions, DM me. 3. Put my long term goal (nawvel.com) in the backseat. I had to reprioritise. It'll still be up and running for free for y'all and 1,150 users who signed up (400 America, 400 India, 350 ROW) 4. Signed a client to keep the cash flow going. He's awesome. 5. That money pays for my team (hacker, hipster, hustler). I have a low burn - around 1.5-2K usd. 6. Signed up for ship30for30. I like it a lot. After Synthesizer Skool and Ship30, I'm convinced that I want to create content. And that for the next few years, I will do just that. Atomically. Banking on slow growth. While still pursuing other short term opportunities.
