Hey everyone — I’m John Brophy. I’m a father of three, husband of 27 years, and an uncle who probably shows up to too many games and competitions with a camera in hand. My family keeps me grounded — my daughters are both into competitive cheer, my son’s a second-dan black belt in taekwondo, and I’m the kind of dad who calls “golfing” an excuse to hang out, laugh, and lose a few balls together. I live in Des Moines, Iowa, and I’ve spent the last 20 years running a business with my wife called Midwest Business Marketing. We started as a tiny print shop and built it into a full marketing and design company. Along the way, I got deep into sales, organizing, and communication — helping small businesses, union locals, and teams of all kinds grow and connect with people the right way. I’ve always loved the creative side of what I do — building, designing, and bringing ideas to life. Whether it’s woodworking in my garage or developing new tools like Sage, my AI-powered sales coach, that same spirit of creating something useful drives me. All of that led to The Growth Room — a space for entrepreneurs, coaches, and creators to learn how to grow without losing themselves in the process. Inside, we focus on building systems, learning the Gentle Sales Method, and using tools that make life and business a little simpler. More than anything, I believe in helping people win — because when you do, so do I. Come on in. You’ll fit right in here.

Health or Business?? Which come first?
I’ll be honest… I’ve been struggling with this lately. Part of me wants to give everything I have to building my business, because the goals matter so much. But at the same time, I keep reminding myself: without health, there will be no wealth. It’s hard to slow down when you feel like you’re already behind especially with the tight schedule. But I’m realizing that every time I take care of my health — resting, moving my body, eating well — I show up with more clarity, energy, and focus for my business. I’m still figuring it out. Some days I get it right, other days I don’t. But I know this: choosing health isn’t taking me further from my goals… it’s actually what makes reaching them possible. 👉 How do you balance your health while chasing your dreams?

Progress is a thousand little clicks
📢 Update 🎥 Out of the 11 videos I created, I managed to upload 7 so far 🙌 It wasn’t without challenges — tech tried to block me, and we all know the camera isn’t always easy either 😅 ⚡ Every step of the way has its challenges. 🌱 But here’s the truth: Progress happens one click at a time. 💪 Call it persistence, call it stubbornness… just keep clicking forward 🚀 🙏 Big thanks to Paul and to everyone here. Your guidance and support makes the journey lighter 💛 💗 Progress is a thousand little clicks building momentum 🌟

Hello everyone, My name is Vivian, one of the moderator here. I want to inspire everyone here. To Every YouTube Creator Here… Some days the views and comments come rolling in — and it feels amazing. Other days, you pour your heart into a video and wonder if anyone even noticed. Here’s the truth: every video you make matters. Every upload sharpens your voice, grows your skills, and leaves a footprint that someone out there will find when they need it most. Keep showing up. Keep creating. Your audience is growing quietly, even when you can’t see it yet. What’s one small step you can take today to move your channel forward?

Let’s book a coffee date and look at where you’re at, your current results, what you want, that gap, and if I can possibly help.
