Good morning ladies. Was wondering if anyone in the New Braunfels area with chime/Venmo would be will to stop by off S.Seguin/Klien. I've got $90 I need loaded and then $10 for gas/favor.
Believe it or not the whole "Clean up clean up, everybody clean up" song definitely gets my little man to start cleaning up his toys. I'm trying to teach him what toy goes where but this song definitely helped to show & motivate "Clean up" time. It helps so much that yesterday while I was cooking he was playing with his little easel and managed to grab the box of chalk off the counter without me noticing. When I went walking over there calling for him to tell him it's time to eat he started chanting "Clean up, clean up, everybody clean up" & began throwing every piece of chalk into the box LOL. He knows he's only allowed one piece at a time :)
@Samantha P. Yes my son definitely gets selective hearing when it comes to me trying to show him the things I've acquired for his baby sister. No eye contact. Nothing. Maybe try googling ideas that work for children specifically for autism. I did a quick image search and they have a variety of printable/ceate at home ideas. I'm sure you'll have a better idea of what will and won't work for your daughter 🙏
Hello everyone i’m Kay , i’m a newly mom of 1 & im having a daughter 🩷. thank you so much for accepting me into the group! i’m very nervous for my first so any advice would definitely help🩷
@Kia Anderson Oh my birthday is December 24th! Well congratulations. I know first hand how difficult it can be preparing for a newborn & doing it alone. It's definitely a strain emotionally, mentally and physically but I guarantee you that those silent moments nobody witnesses but you when your with your child will erase all the negativity from it. Just keep your head up and keep pushing. Remember that "No feeling is final" these emotions we go through while on this journey will come to pass too.
