Happy Mother's day to all of you special Mom's out there! @Heather Boers , I hope your plate and your heart are very full today! You deserve it after everything you do for everyone! My son is coming over this afternoon, it's a gorgeous, sunny, supposed to be 72° today. We are grilling a steak and extras, life is beautiful!

Little PSA for your sanity 👇 One of the first things I do with every new Skool I join is go in and switch the notifications off. Not because I don’t care, because I do … but just because the default Skool setting is to have pretty much 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻, and honestly, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴! Your inbox fills up every time someone posts, comments or likes something, and if you’re in a few communities, it gets ridiculous fast. You absolutely do not have to turn them off.But if you want room to focus and get on with what actually matters, you probably don’t want your email dinging every five minutes just because this place is active. Skool didn’t really account for a community like ours; a bunch of people who genuinely want to chat, get to know each other, and help in a more old‑fashioned, authentic way… not the new “numbers game” approach where you are just a number on a spreadsheet. ("I am not a number, I am a free man!", or should that be "person" now?) So, here’s how to reclaim your attention a bit: 𝗢𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗸𝘁𝗼𝗽 1. Go to Skool and click your profile picture in the top‑right corner. 2. Click Settings. 3. In the left sidebar, click Notifications. 4. Under Group notifications, find this community and click Change. 5. Toggle email notifications off for things you don’t want (likes, new posts, comments, etc.), or turn them all off if you prefer to only see updates when you log into Skool. 𝗢𝗻 𝗺𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗲 (𝗮𝗽𝗽 𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗲𝗿) 1. Tap your profile icon (usually top‑right). 2. Tap Settings → Notifications. 3. Turn off any email/push notifications you don’t want (likes, new posts, comments, etc.). 4. If your phone is still buzzing, also check your device’s notification settings for the Skool app and switch those off or to “deliver quietly”. You can always turn things back on later or keep just the important stuff (like event reminders) if that works better for you. I’d much rather you choose when you come in here, on your own terms, than feel dragged around by your inbox.

Great idea, thanks!!
Nobody in this community should be broke and brave
If you see anybody In here at level one (broke and brave), let's get them out of debt straight away by quickly replying to their, answering their questions, tagging them in a comment or clicking on their name and liking on their comments. I'm really trying to make every new member be included, valued and welcome, but to be honest I didn't expect such a quick influx of new members and so I really need your help so no one feels left out! So the simple rule is if you see a number one on their profile pic, click on it, see what they do and let them know they've been seen and appreciated as a fellow human and not just a number! 🥰

Great idea!
Coffee, Chickens and Why I Care About Your Visibility
Figured I'd skip the polished intro, and just show up as me for a minute. This is a little about who I am and why I care so much about helping you be seen.

@Adam McCollough That, she does!!
Not Just a Member… But a Huge Part of Why This Exists 🫶
I just want to Welcome and fully acknowledge @Kristine Alise 🙌 An actual OG from day one, back in the “Her'es an idea in my head - what about if we built a community that actually supports and helps people...?” days last summer. We originally met and became friends in Raven's Community Revenue Revolution where we still hang out because it's an awesome community with the same vibe. Kristine’s been right there beside me ever since… supporting, jumping in, figuring things out, and helping shape this into what it is now.... and with with zero agenda other than genuinely wanting to help people. Next to my wife, she’s my unofficial no.2 (couldn’t have done this without her, honestly), a super creative go-getter, and founder of Foxy AI Ladies 🦊 helping women 50+ take action (even when confidence is still catching up 💥). I don't think she even realises quite how much confidence she has given me to stop dragging my heels and get this community built! (work clearly still in progress! 😂) And this week, she has been helping sooo much. If it wasn't for her, literally asking for my to-do list every morning, and asking what she can do to help, I would be postponing the launch a second time! Kristine, I know most people have got to know your beautiful soul already, and if you don't already, you will! So I just wanted to stop for a second to say THANK YOU! I'm so grateful for all of the things you are doing behind the scenes to bring my vision alive! Everyone else give her some BIG love… she’s a huge part of why this place exists ✨
