First ever hair color !!
Hey everyone ! I just did my first ever all of color while in school! The first photo is what we started with, the second is what we had to fill her hair with to give the blonde some color for the all over color to stick to. And the last two photos are the ending results! I would love any and all feedback of what i could’ve done better or tips and tricks for next time ! Fill formula: Shades EQ 7C (0.5) + 7N (0.5) All over formula: 5M (1.5) + 5N (0.5) 10v with a remix!

🛍️WHAT WOULD YOU DO WEDNESDAY 🛍️
A client says:“I’ll just buy it on Amazon.” How do you respond without sounding pushy? Stylists , drop your BEST retail response 👇

I'd smile, "Or... you could buy it through me and that little bit of affiliate will buy my coffee for the week". That would work on me easily if the role was reversed and I was in someones chair talking about getting it on Amazon.

HAIR EXTENSIONS- ARE YOU OFFERING THEM

If I could go back in time, I might have chosen to do extensions only right out of school. I don't know if asking the universe for a third opportunity to get in on it is greedy, but If I could I'd love to give it a shot. This brings up the question, who else feels like little service pivots are really hard sometimes?
Anyone in LA County right now?
Im curious how anyone working in LA county is managing around the warehouse fire in East LA. Sending support, reach out if you are affected. Would love to hear how you are navigating.

🚨 WHAT WOULD YOU DO WEDNESDAY 🚨
A client messages you at 10PM saying: “Hey girl 💕 can you squeeze me in tomorrow? I forgot I have photos this weekend.” You’re already fully booked. 👇 What would YOU do? - squeeze them in? - offer another stylist? - put them on a cancellation list? - protect your boundaries? No wrong answers — let’s talk about it

Easy. Who is the client? 😉 is it filling my $$ or my positive vibe cup, then I will likely squeeze them in if it's possible if they turn down another stylist offer. You know what I mean? some clients are chill or rays of sunlight that actually get you fueled up. Otherwise, I gotta say no,I'm booked.

@April Allen Something I've learned being on Skool that I can't believe I didn't implement before and even for hair packages is to have enough in a special savings account to reimburse/refund people. I had paid teirs for premium and vip, and have since discontinued them. I never thought about what if I need time off, or to step away... or want to remove someone from the community? Being able to refund them just feels clean. The wrong fit of a client or member isn't worth it. And then what that "wrong fit" is exactly is different for everyone. I'm taking note now, more then ever; what do I consider the right fit, and the wrong fit. 😁
