The Result
Part 1 of the project completed 😊
The Result
@Amanda Berridge Yesss! 🙌😊 That’s a big moment finishing Part 1 is real progress, not just busy work. Projects always feel lighter once the first milestone is done. Now the momentum kicks in 🔥 Let us in a bit 👀 • What was the trickiest part of Part 1? • And what’s next on deck for Part 2? Congrats on getting this far keep it coming!
Well Really !!
Sorry for bringing the tone down but …. My hubby keeps laughing at my work but I can’t think why 😝😉.
Well Really !!
@Amanda Berridge Oh really!! Sounds like classic “supportive but cheeky” husband behavior to me. Honestly, sometimes when we’re deep in the middle of a project, it can look a bit… chaotic to anyone who doesn’t see the vision yet 😝 But that’s part of the creative process! Now I have to ask 👀 • Is he laughing at the process or the current stage of the project? • And how confident are you that he’ll be eating his words once it’s finished? 😉 Stick with it the best reveals always start with a few raised eyebrows and giggles.
A few projects
Spent the afternoon knitting now got to make them up 😀
A few projects
@Amanda Berridge That sounds like a perfect kind of afternoon 😄🧶 The fun (and slightly dangerous) part now begins turning all those pieces into finished projects! What’s first on the make-up list: sewing seams, adding details, or choosing who gets which one? And do you already know what each project is becoming, or are a few still “let’s see where this goes” pieces?
@Amanda Berridge Haha I love that already 😄🧶 Big projects always look calm on the surface… until you see all the components behind the scenes! Now you’ve got me curious 👀 • What kind of components are you working on first? • And are these four projects connected, or completely different? Definitely watching this space sounds like something fun is coming!
Last Day To Upload Your January Stash Busting Projects
Thank you, everyone for taking this stash-busting challenge so seriously. I never thought it would be so popular. If you have projects that you would like to submit (each one done earns 5 points), please post your pictures and select January Stash Busting Challenge as the category. I will be announcing the winner(s) on Monday.
@Kim Thompson-Pinder This has been such a fun challenge to watch unfold 🧶👏 The creativity and variety coming out of everyone’s stashes has been amazing proof that great projects don’t always start with new yarn. Quick reminder for anyone who hasn’t posted yet 👀 • How many projects are you submitting today? • And which one are you most excited to share? Can’t wait to see the final entries and the winner announcement on Monday! 🎉✨
Cotton from my stash
Let’s see how Discovery handles this very thin DK (#3) cotton yarn. 😬😬😬😬
Cotton from my stash
@Julie Findleton Ooo this will be interesting! 😬🧶 Thin DK cotton can be such a wildcard, especially depending on tension and grip. I’m curious 👀 • Is this mercerized or unmercerized cotton? • And are you running it solo or planning to double it up if Discovery gets fussy? Either way, stash cotton experiments are always brave fingers crossed Discovery behaves for you 🤞✨
