Do you have a 12-month recruiting plan?
@d1scholarship on X Families with a 12-month recruiting plan or strategy often receive more scholarship offers and opportunities than families with a 4-week plan. The work begins when the first initial push and excitement are over, and many families stop when they hit this point. Howe many months has your journey been?

Let’s Get the Conversation Started! Hey everyone, hope you’re doing well! This community is really starting to grow—63 members and counting! That’s amazing, but a community is only as strong as the conversations we have in it. So, let’s start talking and supporting each other! The goal here is to create a space where we can openly discuss the recruiting journey. Let’s face it—it can be confusing, frustrating, and overwhelming at times. But the good news is, you’re not alone. We’ve all got questions, stories, and challenges to share. My next goal is to get everyone engaging, asking questions, and kicking off some real conversations. Today’s Thought: What’s been the most frustrating part of the recruiting journey for you so far? - Is it being ghosted by a coach? - The lack of responses from schools? - That creeping panic that it’s getting late in the process? Whatever it is, you’re not alone. We’ve got 63 members here, all at different stages of the process, and I’m sure many of us are feeling the same frustrations. So, let’s talk about it. How can we help each other out? Post your pain points below, and let’s see how we can tackle them together. No question is too small, and no frustration is too big. Let’s figure it out as a community. Cheers, Steve

I have an example to share; I attended an ID camp for a certain college in early 2025. Their coach reached out to me on the first day of contact, the same coach later attended my team's practice and spoke with me at the end. I traded a few texts / emails about an official visit and scholarship info... then silence. I still provide email updates of my progress to this coach, but it is a very frustrating situation to deal with.

Good morning, y'all! I am Mia Butcher. I live in Frisco, TX (north suburb of DFW). I was born in Dublin, OH and have lived in Chicago, IL and Atlanta, GA previously. I play OB/HM/CB for DKSC 09G ECNL out of the Texas Conference. I am a 2027. I look forward to learning more about the recruiting process (especially what I am doing wrong) and also to hearing about your experiences.
