What is your busy like?
Homeschool Families look very different from other one house to another. What does your current workday look like? I feel like I’ve tried it all (school too but that’s another post). If you are not yet homeschoolin-or you represent a business who serves homeschoolers-there’s an option here for you too. No judgement-the world is a better place because we are all different! I work full time hours but from home and on my own schedule. It's a little messy and I'd love to see it improve - we're just getting by right now. I love being home with the kids and I'm thankful I can do this but I'm hoping 2026 looks a little more organized with homeschool!

Hi! Finally getting around to saying hello! My kids are ages 9, 11, and almost 14. We tend to lean more on unschooling or lifeschooling. I hated history as a kid (like really, really hated it!) and now I absolutely LOVE learning about it but in a different way than when I was a kid. I love visiting historical places or living history museums and reading historical fiction is my favorite. If I had known it could be so fun to learn it as a kid I would have enjoyed it!

Do your friends and neighbours kids ever ask you to homeschool them?
When my kids were all under ten, I also did before and after school care for children from local public schools. Inevitably by Christmas either children or parents began asking if they could homeschool too. Has that happened to you?

So, so many kids have asked that! OR the other thing I hear are parents roll their eyes and tell me how much their kid begs them to let them homeschool. They just laugh and say they could never do that. Breaks my heart!
