Advice
I wasn’t just trying to make pretty welds. I was making some gaps, off height welds, cleaning with brush and acetone all the way to no cleaning at all. I had hertz high 170, down to 100. Amps stayed around 85-90 ish with some pedaling(1/16 coupons)Trying to get some tips for when they butt up to each other off height. Do you focus the arc toward the lower piece? Any advice appreciated

if you’re practicing for tubing then practice I. tubing and make sure you have no high lows. If you’re practicing on thin flat sheet because you need to do some work like that then the best way to keep them aligned is by clamping them down flat while you weld.

@Bryce Grant I got ya. A few more amps can help with the misalignment but not much you can do with gaps.
