Vibe coding my own tracking app 🤯
OMG has anyone else been messing around with coding their own app? I’m currently in Replit building a little tool to track all my studio and online business data in one place—metrics, trends, everything. It’s honestly blowing my mind a bit. This stuff makes me feel like I’m running a tech startup from my brow studio. AI and automation are going to change so much for our industry especially for solo artists. If you could wave a magic wand and track or automate one thing in your business (without it getting all techy and complicated), what would it be? Don’t overthink it. Just say pops in your mind. Let’s share some ideas! 🧠

For me it’s new nail trends and how to do the designs, including what products you need to create the design. A lot of videos or pictures online are AI (which is frustrating) or show you but don’t tell you what you need and clients expect you to know how to do it and that you have all the tools etc. nail trends are constantly evolving and I can’t keep up.
Goals for the week 🚀
Happy Monday🥳 What's your #1 focus for this week? And what could STOP you from achieving it? My goal this week is to create a new mini course 'Healed Brows Blueprint'. This is off the back of the recent poll I posted in here, thanks for those that voted. I'll have details for you all soon for when It's ready to purchase. What could stop me? Not treating it as a priority and letting other tasks take my attention when they crop up.

My goal is to do a set of brows with my new hybrid Ameia pigments. What stops me is confidence in myself 🥹 but I have a few clients booked in the next few weeks that I will be using my hybrids on
Clients feed off your ENERGY!
Hey all, just wanted to share something that came up in a call this week, because it hit home and I think more of you might relate. An Artist messaged me saying she felt deflated. Her clients kept acting kind of unsure after their treatments like they didn’t fully love the results. But when she sent me photos of the work, I was like… wow, this is really good. So we jumped on a call, and as she was talking me through her process, it clicked. It wasn’t about the brows. It was the energy she was putting out. She was feeling unsure, doubting herself mid-treatment, over-consulting the client, constantly looking for reassurance. And you know what? Clients feel that. Even if your technique is amazing, if your vibe is off clients pick up on it. I remember doing this myself when I was just starting out. I’d spend two hours on mapping because I was so nervous and kept changing things. I let the client be way too involved, and it just turned into this loop of uncertainty for both of us. Now? I lead. I stay in control. I explain my decisions with confidence. And clients feel safe in that. They mirror your certainty. That energy is contagious. So my question is… Can you relate to this? Have you ever had a client seem underwhelmed, and now you’re wondering if it was more about how you showed up than the actual work? Share below, I feel we've all love to hear your experience with this. Kim x

Yes I can definitely relate to this, I have to do this every day with my nail & lash clients. If I know best I let them know and why, otherwise you kick yourself when they come back with a problem you knew would happen but let them talk you into it. I’m still learning with the brows but I’m already telling clients not to worry about the colour for example, as they will fade 50%. I had a client in a few months ago and she was my first, we decided on a light blonde colour to be safe, she told me she was so worried it would be too dark. At her top up she said it was sad they had gone so much lighter than when first done (even though I told her this), I asked if she wanted them darker but as she was so nervous we stuck with the original blonde, but now they’ve faded again she’s told my friend they’re too light still 🤦🏼‍♀️ I should have gone darker and next time I will listen to my instincts. I allowed her to take charge and now she will be pestering me to go darker but I worry about over saturation and possible damage to her skin etc. Most of my clients come in and say “I trust you, just do what you think” and away I go obviously checking in with them but I’m picking up so much from this forum and the homework that every week my knowledge makes me a more confident Pmu artist 🙌🏻
Do you use a long stroke or short stroke machine?
If your Machine Hairstroke treatments are dragging on... It might not be your technique—it could be your machine. Personally, I use a long stroke machine (3.5mm) and here’s why: - It implants pigment faster - Requires fewer passes - Creates less trauma for the client - Speeds up treatment time without compromising quality Short stroke machines have their place, especially for heavy-handed artists or very thin skin… But for most clients, they actually slow you down and overwork the skin. 👉 I currently use the Cheyenne Artyst H2 PowerBabe and love the balance of power and precision. As an Amiea ambassador, you can get 10% off anything on their site. Use code KimL10 at shop.amiea.com Kim P.s want to join the Hyperrealism Brows Mastery group?
