Hello
Hey Zac 👋 Thanks so much for the warm welcome — I’m really happy to be invited to this group, which I’m sure will be absolutely valuable to so many men. I work as a psychotherapist in England and also run a group of children’s homes for children who have suffered the effects of trauma. I’m looking forward to being part of the conversations here and making a difference together for ourselves, our families, and the wider world. 🙌

Hey man 👋 hope your well mate 🙏
Kids Dont Always Listen But They Are Watching For Sure
Something I realised a while back - kids don’t just listen to what we say, they copy what we see us do. I used to tell my kids to be confident, patient, and kind… but when I was rushing around, glued to my phone, or stressing over small things, that’s what they were learning instead. Now I focus less on the “lessons” I talk about, and more on how I live them. If I want them to: 👉 Be kind - I show it. 👉 Be healthy - I move and eat well. 👉 Be calm - I slow down, even when life’s hectic. The shift was massive - less pressure, more presence. What’s one thing you’ve changed in yourself that’s had a positive ripple effect on your kids? 👇

Egg Nog is upon us: you must choose discipline or temptation. Who wins this holiday season?
The Threat is Real. It's on aisle 5. The carton is green & red. The discipline challenge is upon you! The holidays are not a vacation from your goals. They are the Proving Ground for your discipline. Egg Nog isn't just a drink; it's a 400-calorie lie wrapped in nostalgia. It’s the first wave of temptation designed to make you soft. When you see that festive carton, two paths open: Vision or Vibe? * Vibe: You trade the vision of your long-term body for a 5-minute flavor high and a crippling sugar-crash hangover. * Vision: You choose control. You choose the feeling of being strong and in command. You've fought too hard to let a single liquid dessert derail your focus. THE FORGERS' COUNTER-ATTACK * Stop Calling It a Treat: Call it what it is: A massive dose of sugar and fat that pulls you off the track. A treat is something that supports your goals. * Use the 5-Second Rule: See it. Want it. PAUSE. In that 5-second gap, visualize the pain of having to re-earn the lost ground in the gym next month. Let the pain of regret be your shield. * The Better Nog Protocol (The Tactical Substitute): If the craving is truly overwhelming, you do not surrender—you substitute. You create a controlled weapon: * Vanilla Protein Powder * Unsweetened Almond Milk (or another low-calorie milk alternative) * Nutmeg/Cinnamon (The flavor hit without the fat) * A splash of actual Egg Nog (Optional: A teaspoon for psychological victory, not calorie surrender). You get the flavor signal without the body blow. You win the mental battle without sacrificing the experience. Discipline is not deprivation; it is smarter execution. Every single "No" to an obvious trap like commercial Egg Nog is a psychological victory. It builds mental muscle. It confirms your identity as someone who owns their choices. Discipline is choosing what serves your highest vision over your immediate craving. CHECK YOUR COMMITMENT. * Is your short-term craving louder than your long-term commitment right now?
Egg Nog is upon us: you must choose discipline or temptation. Who wins this holiday season?
