People who have already applied to J.P. Morgan DA
In the job description and information, it says "Please make sure to include your achieved or predictedย A Level results (or equivalent)ย at the top of your CV as otherwise your application will not be screened." I wanted to know how serious it would be if someone did not put their grades at the top of the CV, does this mean that their application won't even get looked at? Also interested to see if anyone has not in fact read the instructions and put the grades at the top. Any guidance on this will be greatly appreciated.
Apprenticeships search
When should a current year 12 start looking and applying for apprenticeships?

You can also look to apply to work experience programs with companies that offer apprenticeships. A lot of the time what they do is allow you to complete the application process before it opens to everyone else, meaning you are competing with a lot less people

@Aadya Mishra yes i know, but no harm in applying to those, as you will at least get work experience, and maybe get to apply early
Government cutting Level 7 apprenticeships funding
For those confused about the government cutting funding for apprenticeships read this: - Government has completely cut funding for Level 7 Apprenticeships and employers will have to fully fund these - This isn't exactly new, it turns out this has been in the works since Autumn 2024, as they have been talking to employers who run these apprenticeship schemes - What this means for us is that most employers will still offer these Level 7 Apprenticeships, but reduce number of vacancies available, making it more competitive for students, due to increased costs - Smaller companies may entirely scrap their Level 7 schemes as they won't have enough funding for it, and could look to do Level 6 schemes instead This is what the government report said: We will also be asking more employers to step forward and fund level 7 apprenticeships, which are masterโ€™s degree level. Instead of subsidising qualifications for people already established in successful careers, this government wants to support people to get on at the start of their working lives. Level 7 apprenticeships that are no longer eligible for government funding will continue to be available for employers to fund. The Department will set out more detail in due course following the engagement that Skills England has had with employers over autumn 2024. If you want to read the whole report, click here: https://committees.parliament.uk/publications/46618/documents/238415/default/#:~:text=Level%207%20apprenticeships%20that%20are,with%20employers%20over%20autumn%202024. Any questions about DA application processes?
I am currently a Big 4 DA offer holder in year 12. It is difficult to understand some of the processes, and more specifically what companies are looking for, so I am happy to answer any questions you may have about this.

What's the biggest challenge you've faced when it comes to Degree Apprenticeships?
I'm curious to know what sort of hurdles aspiring apprentices like us face, would love to hear some of your thoughts!

I think the biggest challenge is staying consistent with practising, making sure you always learning from your mistakes and getting confident. Being demotivated makes preparation harder, but pushing on is what will make you more confident and desirable.
