What to Expect: Spring Training Event March 13-15, 2026
Firstly… Thank you for being here. You just making it to this page shows you have an interest in growing, learning, and collaborating in this industry. While there are a lot of us who like to work together and build each other up, there are plenty more that don’t, and hate the idea of people sharing information and “saturating the market.” In my experience “Collaboration WINS” and there are plenty of big mega corporations we can rally against to take a share of the pie for ourselves and help fellow small business owners succeed and provide a better life for themselves and their families. Now that we got that out of the way let me throw out some house keeping. If you are planning to come to the event here is the important info: Travel and Lodging Information: Airport, Tampa International (TPA) Hotel Block Options: Option A - Current 30 Room Block Comfort Inn and Suites Address: 6206 US-19, New Port Richey, FL 34652 +1 (727) 261-9700 Room Block Link: https://www.choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/SW20B5 Description: Built within the last decade, standard Comfort Inn chain hotel located a short 5 minute walk away from downtown. Large parking lot for big trucks, and parking garage for smaller vehicles. Option B - 38 Total Rooms in Hotel The Hacienda 5621 Main Street, New Port Richey, FL 34652 +17278455621 Room Block (NO Link): Call and reference “Dumpster Runners” for block access. Description: Historic building built in 1927. Catered to many “Hollywood” type celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Babe Ruth, and many more. Renovated and reopened to the public in 2022. Located IN downtown. Not a great option for large truck parking, but would be perfect for someone flying in and looking to experience a little piece of history while also staying close to the action. Tickets Information: We have options for just the “Main Event” which will be a Saturday ONLY pass or the full weekend experience, packed with value, networking, and perks. Let’s break those down for you.

@Joseph Maxey one (I hope) last question. Is the 13th at the Commons of Trinity or the hotel?
VINYL LETTERING, STICKERS AND WRAPS
Just curious — do you guys handle your own vinyl lettering, or do you take it to a vinyl shop? 🤔 And what about wraps — do you have a pro do it, or produce it yourself? I’ve seen wraps around here going for about $5K, and even lettering’s not cheap 💸. I’ve used StickerMule and Lettering.com to help my son out before, but it still added up fast. So I’m wondering — did you buy your own vinyl machine and start doing it in-house, or do you outsource everything? I’ve seen one local guy who clearly used stencils and spray paint — quick, sure, but it looks… well, cheap 🫠. I know it’s “just a dumpster,” but branding matters — that two-tone look or clean logo really helps you stand out from the pack 🟡🔴. I really like the job Joe did with his dumpsters — that raccoon logo is a nice touch 🦝👏. There’s also a guy in Josh’s network (forget his name) who’s got a rhino logo — I think his company’s called Rhino Solutions — and it really works. Makes me think I might need to come up with a mascot myself. 🦏💡 I want to make it simple, memorable, and not too busy — something that sticks without looking cluttered. Any suggestions for a mascot or logo concept for Pro Dumpster Rentals? I’m open to creative ideas that still look professional and tough. Also, John at Same Day Dumpsters out in Salt Lake City has a great setup — mixing orange, baby blue, and white trucks. It’s clean, fresh, and stands out without looking overdone. 🎨🚛 Even the big dogs like Republic and Waste Management keep it simple with one centered logo — but since every dumpster’s a rolling billboard, I still want something that pops without breaking the bank 💥. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I’m chasing that sweet spot between cost and brand impact. Anyone else wrestle with the same decision? 🙏

@Joseph Maxey Agreed. I would only advertise my own stuff. However, Maxco has an interesting concept to include some of their partners.

@Joseph Maxey just figured that out. New to Skool and this group.
🎢 How is business in your local area?
I keep hearing that people have been dead, and that's not JUST in the dumpster industry. I've heard it from a very well established tile installer. I heard it from a buddy of mine who repairs sprinkler systems. I just read a post about issues with getting paid at another mans storage lot. How are things looking for you in your local market? Are you experiencing a slow down? Is it business as usual? Slammed as can be? If you're slow; what has been your primary focus for digging yourself out of the hole? If you're slammed; what has been the greatest driver of growth and success? Personally I'm in a weird spot. Year over year I'm crushing it, but if you look at 2025 as a whole, this has been my worst month BY FAR. So it's hard to say what's going on in the world based on my experience. Let's hear from you guys on what you're seeing!

Not seeing any decrease! Perfect time of the year for clean outs for residential customers at least in the Carolina's. Building doesn't seem to have slowed down either.

Eco'ing others here. Lots of networking. I heard some vendors could not make it due to some of the flight cancelations. Over all a great value. Loved learning from others that have more experience in the game and I was able to share a little to newer folks. I'm looking forward to the next one and planning on attending Maxco's in March.

@Joseph Maxey Yeah, there is always room for improvement. NO one is perfect and if events get better, that's what matters most. Glad to see one happening on the east coast!
