What changes have you made?
Since reading the book, what changes have you made? In life, in business, whatever it may be ✨

The biggest change for me is understanding that everything I want to change I can do myself. I have all the tools with me all the time, it's about using them well and at the right time. I started by building up the belief in myself, that I was worthy of feeling good and being respected. I had very good support from Hugo who worked for DJPP at the time. Once I believed in myself, I started MAKING the changes. Small steps become big changes in the long run. I'm not done yet😍
Meditation
And speaking of high cortisol—meditation. I figured it deserved its own topic. Do you meditate? Have you found anything that works particularly well (or not at all)? Feel free to share your story here… if you want to. ☺️

I tried muscle relaxation and mental training when I was younger, it was nice but I almost always fell asleep :) Just over a year ago when I read High on life I bought the resource package where Maria has a 13 minute focus meditation. It has helped me clear my mind and get back on track. On tough days, tears have run down my cheeks during the meditation. But when I've finished, my mind has been lighter and calm. Just 13 minutes can do so much. I'm so grateful!
I'm so tired!
I guess not many of you have had the chance to read this book yet (and admin can delete the post if you feel it's off topic). But when I read it last year this book really got me to reflect on how often we just say "I'm so tired!" not reflecting on what KIND of tiredness it is. The bad sleep, the afternoon dipp, the over-/understimulation, boredom, seasonal and SO many more.. Not reflecting on that different "tired" needs different solutions. So, my question for you is: When do you get tired? And what do you do about it?

just as the book describes, there are many definitions of the word tired. To recover, I have learned to fall asleep at about the same time every night, which gives me a good circadian rhythm. Then, as someone above mentioned, I have added important vitamins and minerals, especially good in the winter here in Sweden. Then I have resumed training, which I have not prioritized for a long time, it gives me energy!
What's your "Substance Personality"?
David often referred to his friends as substances, he knows to call X when he needs Oxytocin, or Y when he needs Dopamine. So what would you categorise yourself as? Who are you in the phone book of David? Vote below and explain why in the comments 🙌

I am a caring person who puts other people's best interests first, for better or worse. I believe I create oxytocin for many people and it also replenishes my oxytocin depot.

@Stückler Julian It's probably because I enjoy giving at least as much as receiving. I get energy from seeing others grow.
Where are you from? 🙂

Hi, I live in Sweden in a small town called Degerfors. There are about 10,000 inhabitants. The town lives and breathes football and has an ironworks that has been around for a long time

Nyfiken HR partner som tycker självledarskap är så spännande. Vill få fler att förstå att du själv kan bestämma hur du vill ha det, lär av DJPP🤗
