VINYL LETTERING, STICKERS AND WRAPS
Just curious — do you guys handle your own vinyl lettering, or do you take it to a vinyl shop? 🤔 And what about wraps — do you have a pro do it, or produce it yourself? I’ve seen wraps around here going for about $5K, and even lettering’s not cheap 💸. I’ve used StickerMule and Lettering.com to help my son out before, but it still added up fast. So I’m wondering — did you buy your own vinyl machine and start doing it in-house, or do you outsource everything? I’ve seen one local guy who clearly used stencils and spray paint — quick, sure, but it looks… well, cheap 🫠. I know it’s “just a dumpster,” but branding matters — that two-tone look or clean logo really helps you stand out from the pack 🟡🔴. I really like the job Joe did with his dumpsters — that raccoon logo is a nice touch 🦝👏. There’s also a guy in Josh’s network (forget his name) who’s got a rhino logo — I think his company’s called Rhino Solutions — and it really works. Makes me think I might need to come up with a mascot myself. 🦏💡 I want to make it simple, memorable, and not too busy — something that sticks without looking cluttered. Any suggestions for a mascot or logo concept for Pro Dumpster Rentals? I’m open to creative ideas that still look professional and tough. Also, John at Same Day Dumpsters out in Salt Lake City has a great setup — mixing orange, baby blue, and white trucks. It’s clean, fresh, and stands out without looking overdone. 🎨🚛 Even the big dogs like Republic and Waste Management keep it simple with one centered logo — but since every dumpster’s a rolling billboard, I still want something that pops without breaking the bank 💥. Maybe I’m overthinking it, but I’m chasing that sweet spot between cost and brand impact. Anyone else wrestle with the same decision? 🙏

Hey Richard- I looked at USdecalsandvinyls.com and they have dumpster decals 2 pack for $499. Supposed to be able to communicate with design team for logo and desired info to display. they send mock up before cutting. I wonder if any one here has used them. I don't think you are overthinking, if so we all probably are. Image is everything about that first impression that imprints on peoples' minds. Rob and I have been tossing around ideas as well. Creative idea for your mascot: maybe an eagle. It's professional, proud, tough, on time and USA. Also, a bison/buffalo could be cool. It's tough, strong, proud, and USA roots. Oh, maybe a muscle bound mosquito! LOL can always count on them! (I'm literally joking- reference to previous post!) If you do he mosquito, I guess I will have to do the palmetto bug!! HA! Good luck with mascot idea and let us know what you decide on. This should be part of the fun part for you because then comes shirts and hats! LOL

Welcome to THE DUMPSTER RUNNERS NETWORK! Please introduce yourselves and tell us your company name and where you're from. We are going to be taking a deep dive into the world of dumpster. Talking about equipment, marketing, networking, community building, and so much more. We welcome everyone from rookie to master. From aspiring entrepreneur to seasoned veteran of their trade. I hope all of you can take a moment and introduce yourselves. Once that is out of the way we can dive into the wins or pain points each of us is going through. You never know who might be right down the road from you. They can become a GREAT back up resource if your equipment goes down or you're overloaded with work, and if not - maybe you just make a new friend to chat with who shares a similar interest! Make SURE you check out the MAP tab at the top. It will show you roughly where each member is located. It says that it it shows each person as 10 miles off roughly, but I have noticed some people much farther off then I believe they should be. We'll have to check that out and see how it performs over time. FANTASTIC feature for seeing who is close to you though. UTILIZE IT!

@Richard Breimann Hey I will be praying for the both of us for business and those muscle bound insects and palmetto bugs! I am in Northwest Florida. No mind you the tornadoes, hail and floods can bring good karma + increased business!!! I understand about the nerve racking and exciting at same time, drives me crazy! I'm with you about the lettering. I am not to bad on arts and thought I might try my hand at painting it on. I have an old school overhead projector that makes it easy to "project" your words or decal on and outline it and then paint it. farther away set the larger the image. I knew an old sign maker/artist that that is what he did. I will practice one first on plywood or something. Maybe we will get some good recommendations at the expo! we will definitely have to compare notes. My business partner Rob White will be there with me! I am interested about the 20's for a 30 or 40 as well. Rob and I have been talking the same thing since we won't be hauling that weight initially. Would like to spitball ideas or hear from others out there if they have done it at first and if it was successful. Until then, prayers and positivity! No risk, no reward! At least there will be an adventure and a story! ~A

💰 100M Dollar Leads, Offers, and Money Models - Weekly Collaborative Education
Good Morning Beautiful People, I'm considering doing a weekly collaborative study of the 100M Dollar Series. I have all three of the primary books + the specialty playbooks in my library, as well as plenty of physical copy codes to send out for the 100M Money Models books. I can do a file share for the Playbooks, and the regular books have free audio books available as well as physical copies being easy to obtain on Amazon and such. If you join you would receive a FREE physical copy of $100M Dollar Money Models by Alex Hormozi, as well as digital links and copies to the other books in the series. In my mind I see the format going something like this: 🎯 Predetermined section to be covered so we can read/listen to segment in advance. 🎯 Virtual Meet Up on _______ day of the week at ______ time. 🎯 Collaborative conversations around the topic and how to implement in our business. 🎯 Archived videos of the joint video conference call so you can catch up if you miss a week. 🎯 Weekly accountability and how to advance your marketing strategies. This would likely go on for 6-12 months on a weekly bases. My intension is NOT to be teaching. It is to be organizing and collaborating. I am not some master who can solve all your problems. I do know a thing or two and may be able to help, but I would love to learn from those willing to share their experiences as well. This would likely require some level of financial contribution. I don't have an exact figure yet, but it would be very minimal. Basically just enough to make it worth my energy and resource's to organize. I also feel like some amount of skin in the game would help keep people accountable and coming back which is valuable in it's own right. I'm also entertaining the idea of making it a paid course, but if you meet the groups predetermined metrics throughout the time to run it we'd refund your money. I want people who WANT to grow, who NEED accountability, and who will IMPLEMENT and SHARE their experiences with the group. If you can book 1 more dumpster due to the knowledge we learn and share together then it would faaaaaaaaar exceed the cost to join.

I would be interested in this as well. Maybe could schedule a time frame prior to a xoom meet to have a comment section each week open for everyone to ask questions/answer, speak to an experience or relay his/her thoughts. Then could have a scheduled zoom meet for everyone to participate and discuss posts and or topics. I would love the opportunity to collaborate in learning from the material and other' experiences!
🪨 Marketing Strategies - BRANDING
Finding ways to get your name out there is KEY. We live in a new world with social media. Never before have you been able to get your brand in front of so many people for $0 - but sometimes free comes at a cost. When something is free it by definition is also less valuable. Your competitors are probably posting in the same places. Doing mostly the same thing. Remember - while there is a skill and difference between drivers and companies, if your potential customer ONLY sees a picture of a dumpster in the driveway, then there is 0 difference between what you do from the next guy. That is where BRAND comes in to play. Lets imagine 2 separate companies competing for attention in the same market. Company A and B both post a picture of the dumpster they just dropped every day. What sets them apart? Does one have a generic white truck and the other has a highly branded wrapped one? Does one wear uniforms and the other doesn't? Does one have a driver with a huge smile having fun while he works while the other is a heavy set grumpy looking man with ketchup in his beard? The answer is obvious - you can compete on PRICE or you can compete on VALUE. If it's price then you can be the generic truck, non uniformed, heavy set grumpy man with ketchup in his beard and it won't matter. If on the other hand you want to make a PROFIT, then I would highly suggest you focus on the brand differentiator. BRAND is the thing that can 2x, 3x, 4, 5x, your ad spend. BRAND is the thing that changes your phone calls from "How much?" to "When can you be here?" I good brand does the heavy lifting for you. Once it's well established everything becomes a bit easier. So what is BRAND? How does one create a brand? Is it colors on a uniform? Is it stickers on a truck? The word brand comes from the cattle industry. It is the hot iron seared into the skin of cattle to identify which ranch they belong to. I can't speak from everyone, but I am grateful that I don't need a hot iron pressed into my skin to do "branding" for my company in 2025.
