Help needed - I don't want to lose a bet with my son!!
I've been testing a few different ideas for making money online so I can share my REAL LIFE results (not the fantasy stories being peddled on YouTube every day). About 3 weeks ago I started a new YouTube channel which is already starting to gain traction. In the last 10 days my video count has gone from 10 to 20 videos but my watch hours has jumped from under 50 to over 550 hours, so the monetization target of 4,000 watch hours is now looking very doable. In my enthusiasm for this channel and it's growing popularity I boldly told my son that I think I can get monetized by the end of the year and he just laughed and bet me that I can't. Unfortunately, my subscriber count isn't growing as quickly as my watch hours and 1,000 subscribers still looks like a big mountain to climb, but I'm determined to show my sceptical Gen Z son, what this old Boomer is capable of. If you don't like calm, peaceful instrumental music playing in the background while you work, read, relax or just go about your life, then this isn't for you. But if you enjoy good music, read on. I publish a new 90-120 minute music video EVERY day at 5pm UK time (6pm CET, 12 noon EST, 9am PST). So far, I have created playlists of Fireside Jazz Piano Trio (with crackling logs), Solo Felt Grand Piano, Neo-Classical Trio - Grand Piano with Violin & Cello - and I'm currently in the middle of producing a playlist of Jazz Club Quartet featuring Saxophone. All instrumental, all very peaceful and calm. If you like this type of music or you know someone that does, your help would be greatly appreciated. The channel is called Mindful Instrumentals (youtube.com/@MindfulInstrumentals) and I'm hoping that there are a few others in this community that enjoy fine tunes and would be willing to subscribe to my channel. If you subscribe or share my channel link, please leave a comment below so that I can thank you personally.

I forgot to mention that I'm also taking requests for future playlists. So if there's a particular type of instrumental music you like listening to while you work or unwind from your day, just leave a comment on any of my videos or in the comments on this post. It would be great to see what you all like listening to.
Sorry for my absence, I promise it will be worth it :)
Hi, Everyone, I have to apologize for not being here the last couple of weeks. I'm working on something that I will be teaching in my Classroom next year and it is taking up all my time right now (I silenced all notifications to not get distracted). I'm starting to get more organised and will block time on my calendar to show up here more often - I'll aim for every day - even if it's only 5 minutes ;) I'll tell you what I'm working on in a separate post, coming shortly.

Vegan Mediterranean Meal Planner
Download the PDF with the link to the GPT I created in "How to build your own Custom GPT" and try it out. It will create some really tasty recipes that you'll enjoy even if you're not vegan :)

Tell me what she thinks, I have made some of the recipes and I think it’s great but I’m biased 😉
Classroom Resource updated - new 3 page prompting guide
Although the 'Beginner's Guide to Prompting ChatGPT-5' is essentially only 15 x 1-page explanations of the various aspects and possibilities of prompting, I expanded it to include a second version of the book created by ChatGPT-5 using a 2-page prompt (also included). Doing that turned it into a 40 page PDF, which I now understand is a bit off-putting for many people. Now I have also uploaded a condensed version. It contains all the essential aspects in a 3 page printable guide that is quick to read and easy to refer to. If you want more details on any aspect it tells you exactly where to look in the full Guide. Please download this quick guide and let me know what you think in the comments.

@Kevin Goodrich Thanks, glad you appreciated it, the majority of feedback I got was that it was too long, hence the 3 page version. I guess we are living in a short-attention-span world these days but great to see I’m not the only one who likes a bit more detail sometimes.
New Module in Classroom - How to Build your own GPT
I have just added a ‘How to’ guide and a Loom video showing the process of creating your very own custom GPT. The example I used is a Vegan Mediterranean Meal Planner which I will be using as part of one of my future marketing training videos. People will either have to pay to access it or I may give it away as a Lead Magnet in exchange for their email address but you have free access using the link in the PDF. Try it out and let me know what you think. If you have any comments on this lesson in my Classroom please leave them below. If you have any questions about it or if you want to suggest a topic for a new ‘how to’ guide/video you can open a new topic in the General Discussion forum. More coming soon.
