Excited to be here with the Superior Renovated Homes community! 🙌
What really drew me in was the story behind how this team went from flipping over 1,000 properties in LA to starting fresh in a new city and still building a thriving business from scratch. That kind of reset takes courage and strategy. As someone who’s passionate about real estate and personal growth, I’m here to learn, connect, and apply the fundamentals that make real success sustainable not just profitable. Looking forward to growing with everyone here and diving deeper into the “Real Estate Investing Fundamentals” course. Let’s build smart, balanced success together! 🏡💼

Thank you, Steve! The reset was a good call! We ended up running much leaner, gained time freedom, and proved the system worked in multiple locations. It has been a journey for sure!

@Jayden Baalrud For agent sales - the biggest thing that moved the needle was client appreciation events. We held picnics, rented out a new soccer stadium and did a client field day, delivered frozen pizzas from Costco for back to school, had pies for Thanksgiving, etc. Anything you can do you make all of your current clients feel like they still matter multiple times a year. We did a gingerbread house contest online and had little "For Sale" logo signs for their yards. The social media exposure we received from clients helped us grow quickly. For systems - we were a team (I was the COO) and would lead weekly one-on-ones with all agents. We put in systems and KPIs to measure everything that mattered and focused on the 80% results (80/20 rule). We grew 95% year-over-year with these systems added and broke $100M in sales. I hope this helps a little bit!

🏡 6 Real Estate Learning Tips That’ll Fast-Track Your Success
If you're serious about building wealth through real estate, learning the right way is your first investment. Here are 6 smart tips to help you learn real estate faster, better, and with more clarity: 1. Start with a Strategy📌 Don’t just “learn real estate”—focus on a niche: rentals, flipping, land, Airbnb, wholesaling, or commercial.Specializing helps you avoid overwhelm and take action faster. 2. Learn from Real People🎯 Follow active investors, agents, and mentors on YouTube, podcasts, or in local meetups.Theory is good, but real-world stories teach what books don’t. 3. Join a Community🧠 Surround yourself with people already in the game.Skool groups, real estate Facebook groups, or local REI meetups can open doors and minds. 4. Study Deals, Not Just Definitions💼 Look at real listings. Run the numbers. Ask:“Would this make a good investment? Why or why not?”This turns theory into instinct. 5. Take Notes + Create Your Playbook📒 Build your own system from what you learn—checklists, deal criteria, questions to ask agents, etc.Learning is great. Execution is better. 6. Follow Local Market Trends📍 National info is helpful, but real estate is hyper-local.Track your city’s prices, rental rates, and zoning laws to stay ahead. 👉 What’s one area of real estate you’re trying to master right now? Let’s grow together by learning smarter, not just harder.

I think starting in real estate depends on where you are on the time/money equation. Having time but no money or money with no time, neither, or both will shift the focus of starting investing in real estate. Maybe I should make a quiz to help people learn what a good real estate starting focus would be based on their time and money situation is... hmmmm... I would agree though. There is SO much to learn in "Real Estate" that you really have to niche and focus on what excites you. I focused on Flipping Foreclosures and building the systems/scalability of real estate companies. Those two areas took me years to master and decades until I could confidently say I am now an expert in them both.
