I picked the last of my zinnias today and added purple basil, pineapple sage, and goldenrod for a nice contrast. What do you have still blooming in your garden?

Lovely bouquets!
Seed Saving Saves Money
I've been cutting back my (mostly) herb garden and drying stalks for seed saving. Today I jarred up dill, onion, bee balm, sea holly, and batchelor's buttons. It really helps save money when planning for the spring planting season. If you save seeds or plan to, what will you save?

This is my first year I’ve really put emphasis on it. I have collected onion seeds, zinnia, lemon cucumber, and watermelon seeds. I also have okra I’ve left on the stalk for seed saving. I know some of my plants crossed and I’m excited to see what happens next year.

@Paula Boggan Zinnias really are! They last so long in a vase! I haven’t tried pickling the lemon cucumbers. They are more for slicing. They have a lovely fresh flavor. Not bitter at all.
Pickle time!
Do you pickle and if so, what's your favorite thing to pickle? These are pepperoncinis I just pickled. How many times can we say pickle? 😂

I love pickling okra! It’s always the first pickle we run out of every year. And I love lacto-fermenting radishes to pickle them!

@Paula Boggan Oh no! I think I bullied my fiance into eating it. Haha
