Do single leg balance drills off of your skates. While you’re washing dishes or brushing your teeth, lift up one leg and hold it for 60 seconds or as long as you can then switch. Once you’re very stable off skates try this drill on your skates. Lift a leg for a second. Put it down. Switch sides repeat. You can start small to build confidence
So Riedells are hard to get in Australia and I'm unable to try any on. Has anyone used the sizing chart to calculate and choose skate size? How did it go for you, was it accurate?
What boot do you want to buy? I actually ordered an 297 boot to try on before purchasing a color lab boot. I’d recommend doing that if you’re not confident with sizing. I requested a return label and shipped it back once I was done trying it on. The return was 40 bucks.
Will my weak side ever be as comfortable as my dominant side? I have been working my weak side a lot but it still progresses way slower than my good side. I feel like my right side fights against me. Any tips?
