🌿 Daily Check-In 🌿
I’ve been reading Joyce Meyer’s How to Hear from God, and something really stood out to me: God often speaks to us through our conscience. Sometimes it’s a big thing, but often it’s as small as a whisper in our spirit — “slow down, you’re speeding” or “don’t say that right now.” The truth is, if we ignore God in the small things, we can become deaf to Him in the big things. Obedience in the little moments is training for greater clarity and guidance in the bigger ones. 🌿 👉 Question for you today: Can you think of a time when listening to a “small nudge” from God led to a big blessing or kept you from a mistake? 💬 My Answer: I can think of a few times where God has given me a nudge to not be in a certain place or around certain people and come to find out there was a good reason for that. I thought it was my instinct up until recently. Now I know that it is God looking out for me!

I love this! Listening to that still small voice is super difficult in a very noisy world. I know God has been looking out for me. Every near miss … and every mess that’s been turned into a blessing. ❤️

I’ve been under the weather for a little while, which is why I haven’t been posting — but praise God, I’m finally feeling better! 🙌 This time away really reminded me how precious our health is and how important it is to care for the bodies God gave us. Our bodies are His temple, and every choice we make — from what we eat to how we rest — is an act of stewardship and gratitude. 💜 📖 “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord. — Jeremiah 30:17 I’m so thankful for God’s healing and His mercy, and I’m making a commitment to continue building a healthy lifestyle that honors Him — body, mind, and spirit. 🌱 👉 Question for you today: What’s one healthy habit — physical, mental, or spiritual — that you want to strengthen this week to honor the body and life God has blessed you with? 💬 My Answer: For me, I’m committing to being mindful of what I put into my body. From now on I will take care of the body he gave me instead of giving into my fleshly desires all the time! Our bodies need real nutrients not this fake garbage we get that is convenient. I will also be giving thanks daily for the health that God has restored. 🙏

I’m committed to moving my body each day this week.

The choices we make each day shape not only our mindset but the life we create. You’re not just living the life you’ve been handed — you’re living the life you’re manifesting through your thoughts and choices. When we give in to lies like “I’m not good enough,” “I can’t,” or “it can wait,” we aren’t listening to the Spirit of God. Instead, we’re letting the enemy have a foothold. But when we rebuke those thoughts and turn to God for strength, we realign with His truth. 🙌 👉 The truth is this: we get to decide if we will be the victim of our circumstances or the victor through Christ. God has an amazing plan for each of us, and the more we choose to obey Him and walk in faith, the more we will live in His abundance. 🌿✨ 👉 Question for you today: What’s one negative thought you’re choosing to rebuke this week, and what truth from God’s Word will you replace it with? 💬 My Answer: For me, I’m choosing to rebuke the thought “I’m falling behind” because I've been sick and replace it with the truth that God’s timing is perfect and He makes everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). 💜

You're never behind. You're right where God wants you to be. Feeling behind is a construct of guilt made up in your own mind. You are resting which is what your body told you it needs. For me personally, the lie I tell myself repeatedly is '"I fail at most everything I try to do." I'm pretty sure it's an accurate statement, but not a useful one. The truth is that I am brilliant at some things and those things I should focus on. I do hope that one day His plan for me will be revealed while I'm in the earthly body. I want to look back and say, "Yes, I did that." And be proud of myself for it.

Lately, God has been opening my eyes to something I never really thought about before: the frequency of the fabrics we surround ourselves with. Did you know that most modern clothing and bedding is made of polyester — which is literally PLASTIC made to feel soft? 🥴 But here’s the crazy part: polyester has no real life force frequency. In contrast, natural fibers like cotton have a frequency of around 100 hz … but linen is measured at 5,000 hz! ✨ That’s a massive difference. Linen has even been studied for its healing and balancing effects, and it’s mentioned throughout the Bible as a fabric of purity and holiness. This revelation has inspired me to start making changes in my home. My first step? Switching my bedding to 100% linen. Slowly but surely, I’ll be replacing other fabrics too. I truly believe that what we surround ourselves with physically can impact us spiritually, mentally, and even energetically. 📖 Scripture says: “She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.” — Proverbs 31:22 👉 Question for you today: Have you ever thought about the energy or purity of the fabrics you wear and sleep in? If not, what’s one area of your home or lifestyle that you feel called to “upgrade” so it better aligns with the abundant, healthy life God desires for you? 💬 My Answer: I’m starting with switching my bedding to 100% linen since I spend so much of my life sleeping and resting in it. One small change at a time! 🌿✨

Wow! I never knew any of this. Thank you. I strive to create a bed that is comfortable and inviting. I will certainly follow your lead.

Something God has been teaching me lately is the difference between tithing and donating. 🔑 Tithing is obedience — giving back to God the first 10% of what He has already given us. It’s not really about money, but about trust and putting Him first. In Malachi 3:10, God says: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse... Test me in this... and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” 👐 Donating, on the other hand, is generosity above and beyond the tithe. It’s giving freely, cheerfully, and from the overflow — whether that’s to someone in need, a cause, or even a ministry we feel called to support. Both matter. Both change lives. But the heart posture is different. 💜 👉 Question for you today: How do you personally view tithing vs. donating? Do you feel God calling you to grow in one area more than the other right now? 💬 My Answer: For me, I’ve realized that tithing isn’t optional — it’s God’s command, and it blesses the 90% I keep. But donating fills my heart with joy because it’s me getting to go above and beyond and join in God’s work freely. I want to grow in both!

I believe there is one entry in the bible where it mentions 10%. For me, when I am unemployed, I try to give of my time rather than money. When I am working, I do try to tithe, but admitedly it's not always 10% (as I am always playing catch up). I'm an adjunct professor and notn working for about 4.5 months throughout the year (holidays and summers are only for full time employees). I will keep trying.
