And most people will drift into it. Ash Wednesday will come. They’ll give up something small. They’ll try for a few days. And by Week 2, it fades. But Lent is not meant to be casual. It is a 40-day reset. A spiritual recalibration. A time to strip away comfort and rebuild discipline. If you approach it intentionally, it can change the trajectory of your year — spiritually and practically. For us as Catholics building businesses, portfolios, and families… Lent is not about weakness. It's about sharpening. Less distraction. More prayer. More clarity. More interior order. And when the interior life becomes ordered, everything else follows — leadership, provision, discipline, execution. Today the Church celebrates Our Lady of Lourdes — a reminder that heaven meets us in very real, physical places. In 1858, Our Lady appeared to St. Bernadette in a grotto. Not a cathedral. Not a palace. A simple, hidden place. And from that place came healing — physical and spiritual. Lourdes reminds us that grace works through the practical. And that applies to how we build in business too. If you’re investing in real estate and not using an LLC, you’re confusing faith with negligence. An LLC isn’t about fear. It's about stewardship. Just like Bernadette protected and honored the sacred space entrusted to her, we protect what God entrusts to us. Here’s why an LLC is a must: - It separates personal and business liability - It protects your family’s assets - It creates clean accounting and professionalism - It allows for scalable growth - It positions you for generational transfer As Catholic men and women, we are called to be both innocent as doves and wise as serpents (Matthew 10:16). Faith doesn’t replace structure. Grace doesn’t eliminate prudence. Trusting God doesn’t mean ignoring legal protection. Our Lady of Lourdes teaches us that God cares about the whole person — body and soul. And in Rosary and Real Estate, we care about the whole investor — spiritual formation and financial wisdom.
