@Austin Abeyta Merry Christmas Austin. Haha. Such a great time! We actually did a catered Christmas Eve Dinner at the new Karol restaurant Carolina. Live music and all. Certainly a Christmas to remember

This video is a great overview of travel routers. This digital nomad provides recommendations and precautions to take while traveling. https://youtu.be/5k9MRfyGOY8?si=QGUmzSwR0-nbZnCt This is a good technical demo of how you would configure your routers. https://youtu.be/LXbDg1v65Qs?si=9sY-4OBD1tyN7wIG

Introductions
Hello All Wonderful to meet everyone. My name is Dr. Patrick C. Horton, and I’m originally from Sacramento, CA, now living in Tampa, FL. I’m a US Army Veteran and 20-year DoD Government contractor, working as a Vice President of Program Management for a Satellite Systems company, an online adjunct professor, book author, and I own my own K-Commerce LLC. I also have several industry certifications. My goal is to continue building a portfolio of online income and ultimately land a fully remote online job. I first saw Austin a while back on YouTube promoting the Passport Bro lifestyle, which is all too familiar to me. I’m a huge fan. This past year, I spent New Year's in Rio, Brazil, on Copacabana Beach, and it was a blast. I started traveling all over the world for vacation in 2006 when I was a Gov contractor in the Middle East, to Thailand, the Philippines, Brazil, DR, Dubai, Europe, etc. My goal, per the Nomad Capitalist, is to live in 3 countries for 4 months out of the year (Tri-Fecta Lifestyle). My 3 locations are Rio, Brazil, Thailand, and Medellin, Colombia, where I have rented an apartment in the Poblado area for the past 3 years. In 2026, I’d like to go fully remote and be able to live anywhere in the world I’d like to be. I look forward to connecting with everyone. Patrick

@Austin Abeyta Great to meet you Sir. I typically stay in my Poblado apartment about there about 1 week a month. My Colombian girlfriend lives in my apartment while I'm working in Tampa. So that's about 10-12 weeks out of the year I get to stay in the apartment.

@Ronnie Gan Cool. I actually just moved to Tampa. I lived at Camden on Central Ave in St Pete for 5 years until I just moved down to Tampa a few months ago. Moved closer to the airport so I could hop on my flights every 2-4 weeks to Medellin. My goal is to move to Medellin full-time in 2026 Q1 if possible.
