Just pushed an update — Members List — now you can see how many people are in the community, who they are, and who’s an admin or moderator. Click the “38 Members” in the community description section to see the full members list. As part of this update we “gated the community” — new users must request access by clicking the “Join Group” button, they will then be added to a “Membership Requests” list so an admin can approve or decline them. In both approve/decline cases, the user will receive an email notifying them. Also, users can be promoted to “Moderators” or “Admins” by other admins from the member's list. Users can also be “Removed” or “Banned” from the group.
@Sid Sahasrabuddhe is it possible to not send an email if someone’s request has been denied? We are getting some unqualified leads trying to join our free community. We don’t want them in there but we get a lot of back lash because they get an email saying their requests to join has been denied.
