Key Takeways from Today's Office Hours
Really happy to see so many people out today! Let's keep it coming. I'm gonna start sending out these recaps from each meeting, with takeaways from the office hours. I will also link back to the original meetings. I'll also add these in the classroom under the archives. Missed it or want to go back? Watch the full recording here. 1. Warm them up before you ask for anything The gap for most people is the space between "they accepted my connection" and "here is my pitch." Fill it. Send a short voice note that says thank you, and let them know you are happy to be a resource. That is it. No ask. A voice note beats text right now because people are tired of what sounds automated. 2. Give something before you diagnose anything Before you try to find their problem, hand them something useful. Pick one resource you can send to your ICP every single time. Send it, then let the conversation open on its own. 3. Commenting is not worth 30 minutes a day anymore Ten minutes, tops. Reply to your own comments. Return the favor to one or two people. That is enough. Nobody has ever hired me because they saw a comment I left. The people leaving heavy comments right now are mostly prospecting or they are bots. 4. Story, then lesson, then call to action The posts that work follow one shape. Tell a short story. Pull one quick lesson out of it. Point people to the next step. Your link does not have to sit at the bottom. Weave it into the story where it fits. 5. Sell the result, not the thing you do Nobody wants an email marketing strategy. They want 100 new subscribers a month. Nobody wants a content system. They want clients. Say the outcome out loud in your headline, your banner, and your call to action. 6. A lead magnet and a trust bridge are different A lead magnet captures an email. A trust bridge has more time with you on the other end of it. A masterclass is a trust bridge. A workshop is a trust bridge. A one to one call is a trust bridge. Trust gets built by spending time together, so build the path that gets you time.

This recap is very helpful! Thank you, Danny!
LinkedIn may be showing you to the wrong audience (the fix)
So I've been talking about how to treat the LinkedIn algorithm like an employee. The employee has one job: to get YOU in front of the right people. But in order for the employee to do a good job, you need to provide it with training. And one of the things that you can do to better train it is to fix your About Section. Watch the video, run through the exercise, and thank me later! 😁 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Ir9IwNv6W0fO9tUUI6JQPELBtmIplVui/view?usp=sharing

Thank you! This came at a perfect time. I've been wanting to update my About section but had no idea where to start.

Yey! Excited about this. Thanks for the extra hour. I can finally join the group call with this additional office hour.
Something Broke - we fixed it!
Yesterday, the database that stores everybody’s history and information got disconnected from the system. And I know quite a few of you were impacted by that. I just wanna let you know that we identified the problem, we fixed it, and nobody lost their data. So all that time you spent filling out, your profile is definitely not lost. 😁 We also put in some precautions so that if something like this is to happen again we’re aware of it sooner and can fix it promptly. I appreciate all your patience. And I apologize if we freaked anybody out. I know we did freak @Courtney Obrien out a little bit. 😂 PS. We’ve got some really good stuff coming in the next two weeks. We’re adding in long form video and micro content and also changing up the interface to make it a even simpler for you.

@Antoni Tzavelas Thank you for looking into this and for fixing it right away! Really appreciate the quick response.
Extraction history and profile details gone
HIi Coach @Danny DelVecchio ! I wanted to extract some ideas and turn them into posts/video scripts but I suddenly found (1) nothing in my extraction history , even if I've extracted from at least 3 sources before and (2) all the details I've uploaded to complete my profile are gone. My profile also says I'm on the free trial. Did I do something wrong?
