I find myself using the screenshot/snipping tool often when making posts in my community, but find that I can't paste them like I would in FB or Workplace - in Skool you have to attach files (which requires saving each screenshot/snip). Is there a way to avoid doing this each time?

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe so the drag and drop work well with images on google/websites. But if you use the snip tool on windows or have an image in your clipboard, you're not able to past it
Does the youtube link below only allow us to attach desktop youtube videos, and not shorts?

@Nick Guadagnoli sweet thanks
Is it currently possible to restrict access to courses only to specific members or groups of members? Or would that require having a second skool?

General Discussions feed being captions and preview only makes the portal really lean. Less distractions, I agree with that. When it comes to Celebrations, however, I thought having a more visual feed (only for Celebrations feed) may create more engagement & fun as celebrations are more fun when people were sharing their videos, fun pictures etc for motivation. Have you considered making Celebrations feed more visual, e.g allowing photos or videos in the preview? @Sam Ovens

@Nick Guadagnoli all good thanks!
Is it possible to zoom in using pinch gestures when looking at photos from a post on your phone? A lot of times clients are unable to see the text in some screenshots for example for this reason, without having to download the photo and then viewing it on an external photo viewer. (On desktop this is easy to do)

@Sid Sahasrabuddhe Thanks man! Appreciate it
People get tremendous value by being able to search for information on YouTube and Google. But Skool can be more powerful than this with transcripts, giving potential students more incentive to invest in a skool education business. It should have a "power search mode" for instance google has option for "Verbetam" It should pull up results that have same keywords as search but with different phrasing & word order Sometimes I will search something and it gives no results, but it should. For instance, if you search the member's first name along with something they said in a comment, it will not show the comment. Or if you search two words that are in a community post, it will not pull up the result if those two words have other words between them.

Doesn't seem like it. It's priced per group
Is anyone else noticing a big decline in FB group engagement this year? It's impacting the 'warmth' of my leads and making it increasingly difficult to sell to. Debating whether or not to move leads to another place to nurture before bringing them into a paid skool community group. How is everyone else nurturing their leads?

@Ted Carr that's with the assumption that you can add all the members in your group right? For leads coming from ads, messaging them doesn't notify them. How do you get around this?

@Italo Campilii Helping people master their health - gut health, movement, sleep, habits, energy...etc. Its a highly value based group - I hardly ever pitch, but the engagement is pretty poor. By paid ads, do you mean youtube ads?
Often I don't respond to students quickly because I don't see email notification. If there was a feature to get notified on mobile via SMS - I think it would majorly drive up engagement and allow me to respond quicker to students as an admin.

@Lendon Franklin if you drag any email that's not in your primary tab into the primary tab, you'll get prompted to have this done for all future emails from that sender - by selecting YES, this makes all future emails from skool go into primary

@Lendon Franklin this is true!
Has anyone used Skool for online fitness masterminds? I'm currently using Clickfunnels to host my course material and then Workplace by Meta for the community aspect. Love to hear your thoughts/experiences

@Rich Wellington cheers man good to meet as well - only thing I'm on the fence about is DM notifications. Workplace at the moment has the ability to chat via its dedicated app - great to send gifs, reactions, files...etc. But workplace can get pricy as the users increase
What happens when you follow someone? Do you get notification when they post? Do you get emails? How does it work?

@Nick Guadagnoli cheers thanks
This is GREAT. I was praying to find a platform that I could do courses and community all in one. Do you guys find that Kajabi is still a better platform for content and courses? This one seems pretty basic etc. Appreciate any feedback 🙏

From my experience, people just want to watch each video once, so as long as you organize your vids in a way that can be easily consumed and then applied practically, then youre good - skool does this just fine
Given how this platform is accessed via an internet browser, is there any way to notify people/get notified about DMs without directly checking the website? Are emails sent for every message?

@Dennis Kraus gotcha thanks - no way to get notified offline without email though correct?
This is one of the best thing created by Sam and his team but it would be great if this thing gets converted Into an app. I have added direct link to my smartphone homepage, which mimicks like an app. Simple and easy.
