Navigation & Connection Use Case
Hey @David Nickson, thanks for creating this amazing community. We've been doing a lot off the below manually for clients/members. Which we explore having a tool to do in the future. - Provide navigation support and reports for grants, equity free /equity-based funding opportunities (we have a database) - Provide navigation/connection support for businesses to type people they want/need to speak with almost instantly otherwise in 1-5 business days (we just need to enrich our database) - Advisory + navigation support of business programs and growth services (we have a map, with unique navigation logic) It's essential a business advisory gen ai/agentic ai agent that helps our clients/ community members advance as a founder/operator in their business based on personalised suggestions to their business, profile and objectives. The tool would work works in a chat and call mode, where results/options are provided live, otherwise within 1-2 days max as message/email/doc (when there's more than a 3-5 options).

Hey Eli! These sound like strong use cases for AI, especially if you already have databases, maps, and internal decision logic behind the service. To me it sounds like one agent, with different tools and workflows for each feature. I'll message you some questions to get a better understanding of what you currently have set up and what it would look like to integrate AI into it.
CloudFlare
Another use case I am very excited and interested in is using ai in conjunction with CloudFlare. Setting security rules, making dns records, etc. I get emails almost daily about new Cloudflare AI integrations so I am likely just scratching the surface. Love to learn more.

OpenAI actually has an official Cloudflare integration for Codex now, which includes a Cloudflare MCP server plus Cloudflare-specific skills. I’d be cautious with anything that can change live infrastructure, especially DNS or security rules. I’d probably use it to review, suggest, and prepare changes, then manually approve/apply anything sensitive. But for learning Cloudflare, debugging deployments, or building sites/apps on Cloudflare, it looks elite!

@Tom Phillips Can confirm the Cloudflare plugin integration works like a charm. Against my own advice, I had it change page rules and DNS records, and it did everything correct!
Live Training: How I Built An AI Chatbot You Can Add To Any Website
This is not just a basic “chat with AI” demo. It’s a full website chatbot system that can be trained on a business’s own files, answer customer questions, capture leads, and be embedded onto any website with a simple JavaScript snippet. I’ll break down how it works, how a business could use it, and how you could package something like this as an AI solution for clients. We’ll cover: - how the chatbot works behind the scenes - how files get uploaded and turned into searchable knowledge - how RAG and vector search work in plain English - how the website embed widget works - how lead capture and usage limits work - the stack I used: Next.js, Clerk, Supabase, pgvector, Mastra, OpenAI, and JavaScript - how you could sell this to businesses Drop any questions you want me to cover below.

@Uncommon Collective Uc it was last week but I’ll do another one when the chatbot is fully ready in about a week or so!
Monthly Maintenance
Well here it is top of the month and it’s time do do monthly maintenance on client websites. After watching David’s chat bot demo, I started considering the possibilities of having a bot that has a list of parameters that will update certain things like plugins and perhaps not others like themes or old Oxygen based websites. I am wondering 😎

Hey Tom! Great catching up. For my understanding, is the problem with maintaining WordPress websites is that you have to update plugins, and themes for security reasons. When you update them, things can break on the website, so it's dangerous to just go ahead and blanket update them all? So it would be helpful to have something that can: 1. Back up the website 2. Update a plugin 3. Review the site to see if there are any breaking changes 4. Loop 2 and 3 until the plugins are updated? Plus you can have a feature which allows you to set rules, e.g. Never update X plugins? Is this what you're thinking?
