Day 16- Gratitude Practice- Zoom out
Why do we seem to focus on the bad stuff? The frustrating stuff? The stuff we want to let go of? First in my world nothing is really "bad" but perceived as bad, good, frustrating, negative in relation to something else. Second- Perhaps because there is so much good? Again this is a perception And it is things we want to move toward- abundance, money, love, joy, peace. Invitation: Today I offer you the perspective to zoom out to zoom in! What does that mean? Look outside or around your room and find something "good" or neutral that is made of many parts. We are going to settle into the abundance in everyday things and practice gratitude for the many parts of the whole. Examples: a plant- now start to get specific- wow look at all the leaves, amazing look at all those stems, thank you for making oxygen and purifying my space a tree outside- the sky- look at all the stars, look at the vastness, imagine the millions of particles Looking for abundance in ordinary places and being in awe and gratitude of the abundance!
