Fast Fix Friday: Most people are one sentence away from getting 10x better results from AI
The one thing that will immediately improve your AI results has nothing to do with which tool you use. It's how you talk to it. Most people type a one-liner and wonder why the output sounds nothing like them. Here's what to do instead: - Give it a role before you give it a task. "You are a warm, direct expert who writes for established service providers" hits different than "write me a caption." - Tell it exactly how you want the output structured. Bullet points, a table, JSON, three punchy sentences — it doesn't know unless you say so. - Paste examples of your own writing and tell it to match the tone. Add your non-negotiables too. No em dashes. Short sentences. No corporate speak. - Don't accept the first draft. - Give it a direction: "make it shorter," "less salesy on the CTA," "push it more casual." That's where the good stuff comes out. Build on what's working instead of starting over each time. One tweak to how you prompt this week could change the quality of everything you get out of it. What's one thing you keep getting frustrated by when using AI for content?

It's very true in what you say. Also know that AI is learning you so the more information it has on you the more it sounds like you. My latest is punch in the gut scroll stopping but sound like a friend talking. Seems to be working more. Still need more work on my conversions but hey everything is growing, people are watching and reading. Some day I will nail it!

@James Edward Thanks. For me it's about hitting the core of my message and every time I go deeper into my healing the deeper I go into my message to hit my avatar to move. So yes there are days I read what AI says and its OMG how do you know?!!! 🤣
Your answer is going to shape what I share on Mondays
Before I drop next Monday's content ideas, I have a question. What does your content feel like it's missing right now? I'm asking because Monday's ideas should work for YOU, not just sound good in theory. Your answer shapes what I share. So tell me.

Totally a CTA that works.
Update to our community and affiliates payout
Friends, I've made a decision about our community that I wanted to share with you. To keep the quality high and weed out lurkers and scammers (I've had to remove a few recently and decline 10 membership requests from scammers), I'm introducing a small $5/month fee for all new members going forward. This does not affect any of you. Existing members are grandfathered in completely. The upside? I've also increased the affiliate commission from 20% to 40%, so if you refer someone who'd be a great fit here, you'll earn more for it. Grab your affiliate code and start sharing with anyone you know who is an established expert ready to simplify their content and make it work smarter for their business. A little update on Premium too. The founding rate of $27/month isn't going anywhere for those of you already in. And something new is coming: the first lesson of the Content Shift Roadmap is dropping soon and will be open to all members as a taste test of what's inside. As more lessons are added, the price will go up. So if you've been sitting on upgrading, now is a pretty good time to lock that in.

When do you intend to increase your rates? Thanks for the commission raise. I was a bit surprised at how low it was when I referred you to a group I'm in.
Stop Starting From Scratch Every Time You Post
One of the simplest shifts I’ve made with a client recently had nothing to do with new ideas… and everything to do with looking backwards. We went all the way back — 2022 → 2026. And here’s what we found: Every single month… they were already posting the same types of content. Not by accident. By pattern. But because it wasn’t written down anywhere, every time they sat down to post, it felt like: “What do I say?” “Is this right?” “Do I need something new?” So they kept starting from scratch. When in reality? The structure was already there. Now instead of rebuilding every time, we’ve turned their content into something that’s: → Clear → Repeatable → Way less mentally draining Same ideas. New words. Different assets. That’s it. A post can become: • A carousel • A quick video • A text-only post • A simple image You don’t need more ideas. You need to recognize the patterns you’re already using. This is the part most people skip — but it’s where things start to feel easy. If your content feels scattered right now, go backwards. Look at the last 3–12 months and ask: What am I already saying on repeat? Because chances are… your content isn’t inconsistent. It’s just undocumented. Quick question for you: If you look back at your last 10–20 posts… would you actually see a pattern? Or does it feel like you’re starting from scratch every time? Drop one of these below 👇 A) I definitely have patterns — I’ve just never written them down B) I think I do, but it still feels messy C) Nope… every post feels like a brand new idea 😅 No right or wrong answer here — just curious where you’re at right now.

I go back to 2017 and have all of it. I know I could reintroduce it. It's pretty much all the same messaging since then, but with an aversion to SM it's hard. Everything I do now is all about my podcast and now my posts are about joining my skool community. Its too much brain damage for me at the moment.

@Stacey Watts thank you. I'll check it out.
Fast Fix Friday: My content is planned. My captions aren't. Here's why that's on purpose.
I plan my content. And then life happens. A client hits a wall. A community member (you've seen it here) shares something that shifts the whole conversation. Something breaks or something lands better than expected -- and suddenly the content I had lined up doesn't fit anymore. So I've learned to plan the direction, not the details. I map out what I want to say and when. But the captions get written that week. The assets come together that week. Because that's when I actually know what's true right now -- for me, for my clients, for the people I'm talking to. It's not disorganized. It's responsive. And honestly? My best content has always come from staying close to what's actually happening instead of publishing what I planned three weeks ago. When life shifts, do you pivot the content or push through with what you planned?

Everything is around my show. This week I created 3 teaser videos for Tuesday. I guess we see how that lands. Now I want to create a few posts to drive to my skool community. This is the part I want someone else to do. I give you the videos and then you do your magic! LOL My genius is in content not marketing. I see this in the not so distant future.
