Does anyone know of any teenage groups or communities? My friend has a son (age 12) who is making videos, and it would be great if he had a community to share/collaborate with. Any suggestions?

I am counting my conversations, but not making nearly enough to yield significant progress towards securing a job or contract work. I am averaging 2 new conversations per day and continuing 3 conversations from days past. How can I start having more conversations without being spammy?
