The Last Person Phenomenon - Why Your Sales Tactics Are Failing You
Have you ever wondered why you’re not getting high-ticket conversions on your webinar or sales calls, even after doing everything “right”? You’ve added scarcity. You’ve added urgency. You’ve added bonuses, deadlines, fast-action discounts, and “last two spots” messaging. On paper, you’re doing exactly what the internet told you to do. Yet something feels off. People attend. They listen. They nod. And then… they don’t buy. This isn’t because scarcity doesn’t work. It’s because fake scarcity has been abused to the point of immunity. To understand what’s really happening, let me take you somewhere far away from funnels and webinars. If you’ve ever gone on a trek far away from the city—some tourist hill station, a pilgrimage route, or a mountain trail—you’ve seen this play out in real life. Every vendor you encounter tells you the same story. “You should buy from me. I’m the last person selling this ahead.” “After this, there’s no one.” “If you go forward without buying now, you’ll miss out permanently.” And the first time, maybe you believe them. But then you walk another ten minutes… And there’s another seller. And then another. And another. At some point, you realize what’s going on. You feel slightly manipulated. Slightly tricked. Not angry—but alert. You become cautious. The next time someone says, “This is the last chance,” your brain doesn’t react with urgency. It reacts with suspicion. Over time, you know—deep down—that there will always be more sellers ahead. So you stop listening. You grow numb. This is exactly what has happened in internet marketing. Right now, every solution provider claims to be the last person you should buy from on the internet. Every coach. Every agency. Every consultant. “Last two spots.” “Doors closing tonight.” “Never opening this again.” “Only for the next 24 hours.” The market isn’t stupid anymore. Buyers have seen this movie too many times. They already know that your “last two spots” will magically reappear in the next webinar or sales call.

here's why your free lead magnet or free webinar is a trap!
Those who can acquire the most customers will always win without a doubt. The fastest strategy to acquire customers in this world is to offer something for free. On paper, it sounds perfect. “Just give insane value for free, everyone comes in, and later you make your money back.” That’s literally the logic behind almost every “free webinar”, “free challenge”, and “free lead magnet” funnel out there. Reliance Jio is the classic textbook example. They gave away free 4G (and then 5G) internet services for months and kicked out most of the competition to capture more than half the market. This didn’t happen because they had a fancy funnel. It happened because people had a chance to get the best value Reliance could offer, absolutely for free. I still remember that time when everybody was running here and there just to get a Jio SIM card. People were standing in line for hours just to get access to that “free” value. But here’s the part nobody talks about: that “free” was insanely expensive. Reliance wasn’t doing charity. They were buying customers with cash. To give away data for free at that scale, they had to burn a hell lot of money every single day. And they could do that because they had billion-dollar pockets, insane infrastructure, patient investors and a long-term bet on lifetime value. Most businesses don’t have that luxury. Let’s be real. Most businesses out there do not have so much money to burn. Especially when you are just starting out, you can’t afford to offer your highest value products and services completely free and just “hope” to make it back later. That’s the part the “free funnel” gurus don’t tell you. Yes, Reliance acquired a lot of new customers very fast. And acquiring so many customers is definitely valuable for every business in this world. But for Reliance to be able to offer such high-value services absolutely cost-free to the customer, they had to have the capital to lose money on the front end for a long time. To burn so much money, they needed to “have” the money in the first place.

you will fail if you think business is simple
Yesterday, I saw an advertisement on Instagram where the main ad copy said: “Getting high ticket clients is not a rocket science.” I was shocked to see how people are letting these gurus sell them a “La la land”. The marketing guys are always trying to make everything feel simple and easy just for the sake of selling. But I feel this is a massive blunder. Because after someone buys from them with the wrong expectations of getting “easy” results, they are just going to go for a refund. If getting clients or building a business was as simple as they say, literally everybody would have become successful and built a lot of wealth. But that’s clearly not the case. Only the top 1% of people who really understand the complexity of a business are the ones who actually make it in the game. So yes — getting high ticket clients is a rocket science. Business is a rocket science. Here’s a crazy insight I got from my mentor, Alen: Complex organisms eat simple organisms. This is the ultimate truth of the universe. Plants are very simple organisms. They can’t even move or talk on their own. So they get eaten by organisms a little more complex than them like goats, lambs, or donkeys. Now even if these goats and lambs are more complex than plants, they are still very simple compared to lions, tigers, or eagles. So they get eaten up by these more complex organisms. This is how our food chain is formed. And humans are at the top of the food chain because they are the most complex organisms on the planet (even if not as strong as a lion, tiger, or even a horse). People who keep on saying “keep it simple” in life are usually the ones who are afraid to address and accept the complexity of the universe. And how complexity “always” wins. They are not even able to comprehend and understand these complexities. That is why they keep on saying “keep it simple”. And some of them start teaching you to keep it simple too. Which does not lead anywhere and they stay stuck in life forever. (sometimes even get eaten up)

how to get everyone to buy your offer (without being salesy)
This one might answer all your sales conversion questions (and why nobody is buying your high-ticket offer)… even though you’ve “done everything right”. You tried the VSL funnel. You tried conducting webinars. You tried running ads. You tried email marketing. People often praise you and thank you for the value you deliver… But you’re still left wondering: “Why is nobody buying? What am I missing?” Totally clueless. What if I told you the problem is NOT in your strategy? One of our 7-Figure Launchpad clients reached out to me after getting extremely low conversion rates for their high-ticket offer. He was running a webinar and getting just around 2% conversion. We quickly got on a sales audit call and rebuilt the whole webinar script together for 3 hours using the exact fundamental I’m going to share with you today. In his very next launch, he got over 25% of people to buy his offer. A dramatic 1150% increase in conversion rate. And now I’m going to show you how you can apply the same fundamental in your sales funnel as well. If you’re facing low sales conversion with your funnel, chances are you’ve been told: “It’s a strategy problem.” “It’s your funnel.” “You just need a better pitch or scarcity.” And usually, I’ve seen people aim to “fix it” by targeting a maximum of ~10–20% conversion and consider that decent enough. But here’s what we fail to understand. Almost every single person who: shows up on your webinar clicks on your ad signs up for your lead magnet …almost 100% of them want to solve a real problem in their business or life. That’s why they’re even engaging with you in the first place. So if almost everyone has a problem and wants a solution… Why do we still see such low sales conversion rates and even consider just 10–20% as “good”? Have you ever thought: “Why can’t we simply convert all the right people who are already interested?” The reason is simpler (and scarier) than you think. The biggest reason low conversion rates like 10% are considered “good” is because, as vendors, we underestimate how hard it is for customers to decide and buy from us.

Where are the course videos? - important update
Hi, Nihar here. I always wanted a distraction free platform so you all could take action, implement and get results from the AI Funnel Kit as fast as possible. I wanted a community platform where growth and transformation can be very streamlined for my people. This was the big reason why we only used to let you unlock next videos after you finish the current one. But it turned out to be more chaotic and full of friction for people who actually wanted to implement and grow. And I was also hoping this community will be used more to share learning, new insights and helping others out by providing value. But what we saw was just a couple of people asking specific technical questions related to the course that do not add any real value to people in their growth journey. And more than that, we had to keep the access to this Skool group restricted to only the paid customers which defeats my purpose of providing free value to as many people as possible. Plus the tech stack was too complicated for people who haven't even figured out the basics yet where most people didn't even know what Gohighlevel is This was the reason why we had to discontinue the old Gohighlevel offer even though we all know it was a steal deal for those who know what it is. Now we have moved back the course to the original platform & updated the whole thing to be very beginner friendly and actionable so you could learn the technicals and launch as fast as possible. This is the reason, you are not able to see the old course videos in the Skool classroom. We have already given all the older ACS customers an access to the new course platform over their emails. And new customers who joined after the 1st of December, 2025, do not have to worry about anything, everything is smooth for you. From now on, your latest updated course will be accessible on this new platform and you can access that by logging into hub.profitandscale.com or clicking the login button in the email you must have already received.
