Co-Create: Break the Bottleneck
Hey Visionaries - After a few conversations, I think it might be helpful to create a quiz to help members identify where they're experiencing bottlenecks, stagnation, or friction in their business. I'd like your input on the topics below. This is me brainstorming list in no particular order. I'd like your ideas as well if anything comes to mind. For now, I'm calling the project "Break the Bottleneck". This would be the starting point for an all out holistic review of one's business. (And before you ask, that illustrious word "operations" is pretty much an umbrella for all of these, so I didn't add it as a separate topic.) 1. Offer 2. Funnel 3. Marketing 4. Sales 5. Reporting/KPIs/cash flow 6. Processes 7. Communications 8. Structure 9. Schedules 10. Systems 11. Client Acquisition 12. Client Support 13. Planning 14. Alignment 15. Team Management

Chaos Manager: DG
🔥 Congratulations @Dg Donaldson! You've officially leveled up from Chief of Everything to Chaos Manager — and that’s no small feat. You’re no longer just putting out fires... you’re starting to take the wheel. It takes real courage to pause, reflect, and start organizing the mess — and you’re doing it. Keep leaning in here — the more you engage, the more clarity you’ll create. Got a win, tool, or tip that helped you get here? Drop it below to help the next one behind you. We see you. We support you. Let’s keep rising together.

OPERATING WITHOUT SLEEP?
Here's a story. Bear with me. It's important. This topic seemed to have pop up a few times just in the past few days. ... ● He fell ASLEEP. 😲😲😲 This happened a couple months ago. Even before class started, I could see it in his eyes. I could feel his energy, or LACK of. I could hear it in his speech. This kid was tired. Many of them are. In Korea, students are almost full-time workers. No. They are “working” more than full-time workers. They go to their regular school in the morning, usually around 8 am. Finish school in the afternoon. Elementary students leave their last after school academy around 7 pm. Middle and high school students get to go home around 8, or 9 pm. Sometimes 10 pm! Followed by dinner, shower, homework, and sleep around midnight or later. They REPEAT it everyday. So, in my classroom, after we finish our tasks, sure, go ahead kids, and have some much needed, well-deserved, creative playtime. Kids NEED it. Research proves it. In addition to that, kids NEED sleep. So, when this one kid fell asleep in my class. I let him. I told his buddies around him to leave him alone. He needed it to be able to function in his next class. And the rest of his busy day. ● MOMENTS like this REMIND me that: we ALL need sleep. 👉👉👉 A lack of sleep is NOT a badge of honor. It’s how we can care for others. We need to be able to think, function, and be in CONTROL of a situation when the time comes for it. And all that takes energy. ENERGY that sleep can restore. Kids don’t often resist the urge to sleep. They get cranky when they’re tired (I mean, don’t we all? Adults just seem to hide it better.) ⭐️⭐️⭐️ So, don’t make sleep a chore. Make it a RESPONSIBILITY. A PRIVILEGE. Because when you get enough sleep, you can OPERATE and FUNCTION better. That makes you and those around you… HAPPIER. Who doesn't want to be happy?

Why am I here and what's the catch?
Hey Visionaries. First, I want to thank you for being here as founding members. You don't know how much that means to me. I already have a pinned post about my background and experience, so I'm not going to rehash that here. I just wanted to clarify something: I am not a business coach nor am I looking to offer services as a business coach in the future. I will share my experiences and knowledge in this community to strengthen the collective power of this mastermind. I will draw from your experiences and knowledge as well. That's what a mastermind is all about. This mastermind is about the journey of going from chaos to clarity and calm as a founder. That's why I talk about that so much. I've working around holistic coaches since 2012 and I noticed that I have two strengths coming from that background. (1) Because of my work and educational background, some things came easier for me than for the coaches I worked around. I understood subjects like economics, marketing, statistics, leadership and management. (I had three accounting classes with really thick books that made me decide that hiring this talent @Valerie Horner was a better move for me. Always hire your weaknesses.) Organization, process, measurement, and systems are a part of my operating system. And (2) as an online business grows, the systems and processes tend to get messy, the tech is usually patch worked and the subscriptions for software are adding up. Combining these two strengths and my love for all things operations, I am an Operations Strategist. I work on systems, structure, process, streamlining operations, teams - I'm not a Business Coach. So as time goes on, I will likely have an offer to work with me if that makes sense for your business, not as a Business Coach but as an Operations Strategist who can look at your whole business with you from a high level strategic view and then be hands on to help your business thrive without you feeling like you're in survival mode every day.
