The Beginning of Something New
Hey friends ๐Ÿ‘‹ Iโ€™ve got something to share...something thatโ€™s bothโ€ฏbittersweetโ€ฏandโ€ฏempowering: Iโ€™ll be archiving this Skool community soon. Hereโ€™s why: For months , this space has been my home, Iโ€™ve seen so many of you chase clarity, launch offers, dial in skills, grind so hard. Youโ€™ve taught me what it means to lean in toward better work, better identity, better impact. And in helping you, I found my own clarity too. I realized what lights me up isnโ€™t just building systems or growing a business... itโ€™s helping those quiet, capable technical experts step into leadershipโ€ฆ without faking it or losing themselves. That's my old me. Navigating between my high technical expertise, my will to do more, and my imposter syndrome knocking at the door at each meeting, despite having built a successful startup, hired 30 ppl and while dealing with project dev, biz strategy, etc. That realization means my mission has shifted. โžก๏ธ Today marks the beginning of a new era: One where Iโ€™ll show up focused on helping people whoโ€™ve been building a technical expertise quietly, struggling to find their seat at the table, waking up every morning knowing theyโ€™re ready to do more on the inside, and helping the world see it too. ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™‚๏ธ I see you if: - Youโ€™ve built the tech, youโ€™ve solved the problemsโ€ฆ but youโ€™re still not being invited to lead. - You feel ready, but something in you whispers "I'm not." - Youโ€™re tired of your potential hiding behind bug fixes and sprints, architecture building, databases... - You want to lead without becoming that boss you always hated (I see you, the loud, authoritative "manager") So, whatโ€™s next: This move doesnโ€™t mean I step ou completely. Iโ€™ll still be in your DMs, commenting on your wins, and here if you need me. How multiple back surgeries shaped the way I wanna show up
6 years ago, I had my first back surgery. I was stuck in bed for months. Couldnโ€™t walk. Couldnโ€™t work. Couldnโ€™t distract myself with โ€œbusy.โ€ When you canโ€™t move, you think...And I started asking bigger questions. Like.. โ€œWhy am I working the way I do?โ€ โ€œWho am I building this for?โ€ โ€œWhat kind of life do I actually want?โ€ It took 3 more surgeries to really get it: The real cost wasnโ€™t the pain. It was how I was spending my time. I realized Iโ€™d built a business that depended on me feeling fine. In the end, that wasnโ€™t a business. It was a liability. So I stripped it down, and rebuilt it around simplicity, leverage, and margin. I made it a business that fits the life I want. I realized that you donโ€™t need to burn out to prove your value. The most important is you need to build like someone who matters. Because life *will* slow you down eventually. Might as well build something that works before it does. I'm not sharing that part of my life for sympathy, I wouldn't wish 4 surgeries on anyone. But I also wouldnโ€™t trade what they taught me, about time, value, and resilience.
How multiple back surgeries shaped the way I wanna show up
@Sylvain Zyssman I have been blessed with a rare tumour of jaw bone. It just happens - to 1 out of 100K population (stats says). it's a benign tumour with aggressive local recurrence. (Means it comes back again, but doesn't spread in body like malignant tumours) Operated twice with conservative surgery (curretage). Third was a marathon 15 hour cut-and-paste surgery. A set of back to back 5 surgeries - - Left jaw bone was completely removed - A bone called fibula was cut from leg - That was pasted in place of jaw bone - A skin graft was taken from thigh - That was grafted at the place of leg Was in ICU for 4 days (1st day critical). Came back to ward, then fainted on day 6 (near death). Few hours passed and came back to life ... 2 more days in ICU and came back to ward ... The anti-fragility this built is beyond words ... No challenge matters !!!

I caught myself doing this the other day. I was describing one of my programs and said, โ€œIt only takes about 4 hours per week to get through.โ€ Sounds reasonable, right? But then I realized... I just said โ€œ4 hours of work.โ€ What if Iโ€™d said: โ€œItโ€™s a focused, step-by-step system you can finish in one focused hour a day. And, it actually saves you 10+ hours a week of spinning your wheels.โ€ Same offer. Different perception. Thatโ€™s The Framing Effect. Itโ€™s what makes โ€œ1% fatโ€ sound grossโ€ฆ but โ€œ99% fat freeโ€ sound healthy. Itโ€™s what turns a โ€œcoaching callโ€ into a โ€œpersonal roadmap session.โ€ Itโ€™s what makes someone feel like theyโ€™re buying speed instead of just paying for info. Alex Hormozi breaks this down hard in the Naming and Value Equation chapters of $100M Offers. Your offer might already be amazing, but are you describing it in a way that triggers doubt or desire? This is how I look at my offers before I even talk about them: - Look at how I describe myproduct or service - Find any phrases that highlight the cost, time, effort, or risk - Flip them into value, speed, ease, or certainty Real talk: 9 out of 10 offers donโ€™t need to be better, they just need to sound better.
