@Ivan Blanco Ivan — one workaround is to structure it like a simple question DM, similar to what we run on Brandon’s profile. Instagram requires a button for the opening DM, so instead of a generic greeting, you can turn it into a quick engagement question. Example: Opening DM: Hi {{first_name}} 👋 appreciate the follow! Quick question, are you mainly: 1️⃣ Just researching for the future 2️⃣ Actively looking to buy a home Button options: • “Researching” or “Looking to buy” This does two things: • Satisfies Instagram’s requirement for a button • Turns the first DM into a conversation starter Then your next message can be different depending on what they click. Example: If they click Researching →Got it 👍 Most people actually start there. If you ever have questions about the process or want help figuring out what you could afford, I’m always happy to help. If they click Looking to buy →“Nice! Are you looking in the next 3–6 months or just starting the process?” This type of DM usually performs much better than just a greeting because it segments the audience and starts a real conversation.
