What Happens When You Hide a Tab in Your Skool Community (One Exception)
Most Skool community owners assume that turning off a tab makes it completely inaccessible. That isn't always the case. In this video, I show you what actually happens when you hide the Classroom, Calendar, and Map tabs, which ones members can still access if they know the URL, and the one exception that even some experienced Skool users don't know about. You'll see how direct URLs work for hidden tabs, why hiding a tab doesn't always hide the content behind it, and how this can actually be used to your advantage while building your community. I also explain why the Map tab behaves differently. Even if someone manually enters the Map URL, member location data remains protected when the Map is disabled. Understanding this difference can help you make better decisions about privacy, security, and community organization. This is especially helpful if you're: - Building your Classroom before launching it - Reducing overwhelm by hiding navigation tabs - Organizing lessons, events, and resources - Wanting to tailor what you create for your community members - Making sure your content stays protected before making it available If you're creating a Skool community, this is one of those small details that can save you a lot of confusion later. Did you already know about this, or did anything surprise you? If you have a question about Skool or there's a feature you'd like me to show more in-depth, let me know in the comments! As always, if you'd like to support the channel, head over to YouTube, give this video a like, leave a comment, subscribe for more Skool tutorials, and share it with another Skool owner. It helps YouTube recommend this video to more people, and it really helps support the channel. Thanks so much! ๐Ÿซถ

I'm not in the habit of hiding tabs but I can see the pros and cons, thank you for covering this.

How Growth Boost Attribution Works Between Multiple Communities
There's been some confusion around how Growth Boost attribution works between multiple communities, whether that's free to paid or low ticket to high ticket. One question that came up was: If someone joins a community through Growth Boost, does Skool get attribution for every community that person joins afterward? The answer is no. According to Sam, attribution is per community and uses last touch attribution for that specific community. Here's a simple example: Let's say someone discovers your free community through Growth Boost. They join and show up as a Skool Network member in that community. Later, while they're inside your free community, they see a post about your paid community. If they click a direct link to your paid community's About Page and join from that link, the paid community signup is attributed as Direct Traffic, not Skool Network. What matters is how they arrived at that specific community. The original Growth Boost attribution does not automatically follow them everywhere else. The same concept applies if you have: โ€ข A free community and a paid community โ€ข A low ticket community and a high ticket community โ€ข Multiple paid communities Another thing worth knowing is that owners and admins should use their community links when promoting their own groups. Affiliate links are no longer used for owner attribution the way they were in the past. This allows traffic sources like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Direct Traffic, Search, Discovery, and Skool Network to be tracked correctly. The main takeaway: Growth Boost attribution is community specific. Just because someone originally joined one community through Skool Network does not mean every future community they join will also be attributed to Skool Network. In the video, I walk through examples and show exactly how this works. To help all other Skoolers understand this, please feel free to share! My goal is for everyone to have the answers they need about Growth Boost, so that they can optimize for it and this Skool project succeeds!

Late Night or After Dark? ๐ŸŒš You Decide! ๐ŸŒ
If you were on the show this morning or watched the replay, then you know starting next week for at least during the summer we are going to either: The Skool Late Night Show! ๐ŸŒ - or - The Skool After Dark Show! ๐ŸŒš This is going to ensure we are able to continue to show up daily. This will allow us to test another time. This also allows us to show up how we need to IRL with our family during the summer. Something important to note is we will make sure to do a little short recap of the day before and bring up your comments live the next day if you're catching the replay! ๐Ÿค @Eric Howell Our aim will be to go live around 9pm CST each week night. Vote which name you want this season to be... and if you want us to discuss certain topics or do new segments let us know :)
