Hey everyone! It’s been a while. I hope everyone is having a good start to their weekend! Something exciting happened to me at the start of this month…I was reached out to by a Community Manager at Canva with an opportunity to be part of the Canvassador Program. If you’ve seen my content, you know Canva is part of what I create content about. So, when I received this email, I was honestly really skeptical about this at first. But, I did my research on the person who reached out and he was legit! (Plus, the email wasn’t looking sketchy 😅) I didn’t imagine someone like this happening to me at this time — especially while I’m in the process of launching my course on Canva — but I’m really excited about this opportunity. Nothing has been finalized yet but it’s already in the process. Just wanted to share with everyone!

Hello everyone 👋🏾 I just wanted to give a special shout-out to Princess Adetola. I reached out to her recently, honestly just to connect with a fellow creative who’s walked in the same shoes I’m currently wearing with @reeledbymarie and the conversation turned out to be so much more than I expected. She listened so intentionally, shared her journey and story, and made me feel genuinely seen. She walked me through her creative process, offered feedback on mine, and shared insights that really stretched how I think about my work. It honestly felt like a mini masterclass, full of lessons, ideas, and encouragement that I’m carrying forward. I left that call feeling inspired, validated, and deeply thankful for the kind of community that allows us to connect and pour into one another. This experience is such a reminder of what community is really about ; connection, honesty, and people who pour into each other. So thankful for this space.
