Suno, youtubr and copyright music
Apologies for not being able to attend a vip call, just a weird time right now. I thought I'd share this with the Suno crowd. I publish my created music to YouTube etc. Someone mistook my own work for another artists work, corrected me on the name of my song (wild, I know) because it didn't meet the song he found on Spotify that belongs to someone else. As a result he filed a copyright claim, saying I stole someone else's work. YouTube took down my entire channel stating I copyright infringed my own work, upon appeal they upheld their decision on the basis of someone else not understanding he was listening to another artists work. Tl:dr? YouTube copyright struck me for my own work, removed my entire channel and banned me on the say so of someone else.

So sorry to hear this. I would fight it. I fought one and won a few months ago. Had one of my original songs on YouTube and someone claimed it. I protested and eventually won it back. Good luck with yours.
What is everyone's favourite opensource LLM
I love using Grok, claude is ok, but I personally love having my own offline local LLM. I use Ollama and gwen versions. I also run abliterated versions, The gemma 4 abliterated and the gwen abliterated are amazing ! they work really well, if you integrate it with webui it can attach to duck duck go and search the internet. What's everyone's Favorite Local LLM ?

I’m configuring LMStudio for a few versions of QWEN. Got it to work with Claude Code but it’s pretty slow. I’ve tried Ollama and LMStudio and prefer LMs interface. Strange thing is the chat is really fast in qwen using lmstudio but when I connect Claude Code CLI to it is crawls to a halt.
Watermarking
What are everybody’s thoughts about the announcement that Claude and OpenAI (and possibly more) are going to start watermarking their content?

@Shane McGrath I agree SUNO watermarking is a good idea. Re: Claude Code I read it was word choices producing a pattern humans would not use but AI would. That means it survives a copy paste. I understand the need for AI tagging but I DON’T like the idea of being one step closer to being “flagged” as someone who is producing content generated by AI. It’s none of their business HOW I produce my code. Period. I have programmed since 1984 in multiple languages and just because I choose to use AI for some of my projects should NOT categorize me as “different” or whatever compared to other programmers. Yes I can write the code AI is producing for me. But I CHOOSE to use AI because it can write BETTER code than I do FASTER. So should people like myself be “categorized” in a group potentially targeted for elimination because we recognize the advantages of using AI? No. Not at all. Yes I know they are (currently) not watermarking code produced by Claude as AI generated and not targeting programmers for “tagging” but that is not the point. They COULD and because of that it is only a matter of time before they WILL.

@Shane McGrath Totally agree it’s lawmakers. But that doesn’t make it right.
shorts generator
found another cool github repo, haven't tested it yet, but will probably use it to add short clipping features to my own video tools It's also marked over in brain.vibecodeguild.com for premium members https://github.com/Anil-matcha/AI-Youtube-Shorts-Generator

Thanks! I'll check it out.
Looking for shoutout candidates
I would like to give shoutouts to member projects in my YouTube videos. Instead of having some lame sponsor, I’d rather just do a quick mention to drive traffic to you guys Let me know if you’re interested. I’ll work on some kind of queue system and try to spread the love as much as possible In leu of a perfect system, how about we start with you dropping a link to a project that you feel is ready for public attention with 2-3 bullet points about it, what it is, why you built it, etc, and I’ll start popping these in my YouTube videos

@Shane McGrath BTW, I have already created a JTFNews IOS app, and an Apple Widget, but I have not deployed it to Apple yet... I've been testing it for months now. The main reason for waiting is I want to shore up the backend to prevent any hacking... and I want a distributed network of 'nodes' so that an attack on one won't bring the entire network down.

@Shane McGrath Thank you! That means a lot to me. I really appreciate what you're doing here... I plan on continuing to support it in any way I can.
