Screen-free day! Thoughts?
I woke up to a message from my sister today (sent yesterday), that today was their “screen-free” day, so if anyone needed them to call since no one in the family can look at the screens unless it’s a phone call. I thought, wow that sounds like an awesome idea, do one day where we don’t look at screens. We can read more, play outside, meditate, whatever needs to happen in that time when we are off our phones, not watching TV, not playing games on consoles. What are your thoughts on it? Would you do a screen free day? I know for me it would be hard but I am thinking it may need to happen for me.
ON THE ROAD AGAIN!
I just wanted to let you all know that I will be traveling over the next few weeks. I'll be checking messages and responding to comments... Just maybe not a quickly as I normally do. Also, Campfire Threads and Live Calls will be postponed until I get back. Thank you for being understanding!

@Billy Punt it was a fun day, woke up early with the kiddo, did presents and enjoyed being present with the family. Then we packed and off to the airport. Now in Washington where I wish the weather was warmer but enjoying time with the entire family has been great!

🔥🎄 Christmas Campfire Thread — “What This Year Taught Me”
As the year comes to a close, this isn’t a week for rushing forward. It’s a week for looking back with honesty. Not just at wins… But at what this year revealed. For this Christmas Campfire Thread, reflect on this: 👉 What did this year teach you about yourself? Not what you accomplished. Not what you posted. But what you learned. You might reflect on: - your relationship with time - your energy - your priorities - your pace - your family - your work - your attention - your limits Prompt ideas (use one if helpful): - “This year showed me that I…” - “I realized I can’t keep…” - “One thing I’m carrying forward is…” - “One thing I’m leaving behind is…” There’s no right length. There’s no perfect answer. Just honesty. 🎁 Holiday Rhythm Note Because it’s Christmas week, there will be no Friday live call this week. I’ll also be traveling on Friday the 5th, so live calls will resume on January 12th. Offline exists to support real life — not compete with it.Take this week to rest, reflect, and be present where your feet are planted. Thank you for being part of this community and for helping make it a place of depth, not noise. 🔥

This year showed me that I can make big changes and big moves and still be there for my family and friends. It showed me that it is okay to leave a toxic environment even if it doesn’t make sense at the time. This year showed me that even though things get rough, there are people who will still show up and be there. This year also showed me who was really there and that sometimes, strangers on the internet will be more supportive than people in your own family or friend circle. Lots of wins this year, lots of ups and downs but ready to see how 2026 shapes up!
