Promote your Skool on Skool
On most skool communities, it is seen as bad form to promote your skool. I found an interesting skool called Skool Classified, which encourages you to post about your skool once a day for free. https://www.skool.com/classifieds/about?ref=e7ee3c7d66d34e6884dd48e17ee5c115 I just joined, so don’t know all the ins and outs, but you can post once a day, and don’t DM the other members. There’s also a paid tier (of course) but I dont know what that is about. Anyway, thought it would be a valuable resource for other skool owners in Barcelona out there!

Hola everyone! 👋
I just relocated to Barcelona and I’m really happy to be part of the Skool IRL Barcelona community. I believe communities grow stronger when we truly connect as people, not just as profiles online. I joined this space to meet like-minded individuals, learn from your journeys, and also share support where I can. Barcelona already feels full of energy, culture, and opportunity, and I would love to discover it through your eyes. I’d love to know: 👉 How long have you been in Barcelona? 👉 What’s one place, café, or experience you recommend to someone new here? 👉 What are you currently building or passionate about? Looking forward to connecting with you all and growing together in this community 🤍 ❤️🎈

Welcome Jessica! Where did you come from before you landed in Barcelona? (Both where are you from, and where have you been living) And what’s your Skool community about? I have lived here for 4 years, originally from the States (Providence RI, but the last place I lived before moving here was Chicago) As for your question— I definitely recommend trying to go to Santa Eulalia coming up, which is full of traditional Catalan events, including the Gegantes (giant dancing puppets) and a Correfoc or two (that’s a fire parade in which neighborhoods create papier mache demons that spray fire) there will also be music and I think Castelliers (human pyramids). It’s a great introduction to Catalan traditions and parades. https://www.barcelona.cat/santaeulalia/en. The First Meetup of Skool IRL: Barcelona was a big success!
We met today at the Buenas Migas on Parallel. It started off with just two of us, but soon it expanded so that there were 5 of us. We spent a good deal of time getting to know each other, our skool’s(or wannabe skools). The topics wandered a lot: Some of the topics and interests we talked about: The magic of the flea circus Pinterest and becoming an affiliate for them. Using AI to automate Pinterest affiliate items. Hypnosis versus guided self-meditation Creating your About Page Going full time on Skool. Having a roadmap for your skoolers/community. How easy it is to decide what others should do, but harder to decide what you should do. And that was just some of the topics! We each agreed on some goals to accomplish by the time we meet again in February. For some it was starting up a Skool community, for others it was getting more engagement or more business. For me, I want to put up a couple of classes/classrooms that my community does to currently have. Left to right in the photo: @Amaya Moro @Jonas Alfonso Victoria (not currently on Skool) @Asha Hope , and me @Adam Gertsacov
