I’m setting up the official Google Play release for 6DegreesApp, and Google requires new apps to go through a closed Android testing period before they can be released publicly in the Play Store. That means I need at least 12 Android testers opted in for 14 days before Android can move to public launch. If you have an Android phone and are willing to help, please comment below or message me with the Gmail address you use for Google Play. You’ll receive an opt-in link, install the app, open it, and help me make sure everything is working smoothly. This is one of those not-so-glamorous behind-the-scenes launch steps, but it gets us closer to having 6DegreesApp officially live on Android.
