Hey, I just wanted to post in here an update on how my quest to break into the wrestling business has been going so far. About 3 months ago I decided I was going to finally try and pursue my dream of working in the wrestling business. I do not see myself stepping in the ring fulltime because of health issue I have psoratiac arthritis and my joints wont cooperate fully... So I decided I would try and be an interviewer and backstage guy for a local promotion. I shot out a DM to a connection I had through charity work and I was allowed to do a few interviews. I went to the show with a fake mic because my microphones didn't arrive in time and I got some interviews... Were they the best nope but, I showed up and I guess the promotor liked what I was doing because he requested to meet me. We discussed what he wanted and what I wanted and I was given another shot. I got a few wrestlers on my podcast and I went from their. I pitched a storyline where I was attacked in my podcast studio by a local heel tag team called Carnage Coalition and this turned into a storyline over this summer where I am making a youtube series on How I go from backstage guy to getting in the ring for one night only in September ( This in ring match is dependent on how well my videos do over the summer.) I have been also been given the opportunity to edit old match footage and to start posting on Youtube for the company. ( I had no prior experience multicam editing but, I struggled through until I learned the basics) The next show last month I was actually introduced as the backstage guy and I was given the opportunity to interview on my podcast the tag team champions midnight Vice the Heavy Weight Champion Andy Anderson and Van Brugen the main guy they are pushing right now The really cool thing this company Primetime Wrestling is growing and we have a huge show here at our local arena in October the Bollywood Boys and Short Sleeve Sampson are coming more names to come. I am not posting this to brag I want anyone out there to know that you can break in you just need to do whatever it takes.
