Introduce Yourself (ALL Intros HERE Please!)
OK, so by introducing yourself you are guaranteed to get to level 2 - it's really that easy and I LOVE learning more about the cool people in this group. Feel free to share where you're from, why you're here, what you do for a living, and what you like about style. Are you a watch guy, suit guy, fragrance guy, or maybe just getting started? Have fun here!

Greetings everyone, my name is Ahsam. I’m from Pakistan and currently pursuing my Chartered Accountancy qualification. Along the way, I’ve developed a strong aspiration to enhance my professional style as a finance and tax professional, where presentation and first impressions stand equal to technical expertise. I came across RMRS as I tried to refine my closet beyond the basics, and I was impressed by how meticulous attention to detail not only enhances the way people perceive you but also reinforces an attitude of self-confidence. Being in my early twenties, my interest particularly runs toward exploring classic menswear basics from suits to shoes, while accessorizing them within modern practicality. I will be looking forward to connecting, learning, and growing in this journey alongside all of you!

Welcome, Scott! Your thoughts are very relatable, and I agree that it has become quite uncommon in today’s modern age, which is exactly why those who value quality and class stand out so much.
🍂 Signature Details: Why the Small Things Make the Man
Most guys focus on the big pieces - jackets, shirts, shoes. But what really separates a sharp dresser are the details: the watch on your wrist, the texture of your jacket, the way your belt matches your shoes, the scent you leave behind. These aren’t extras - they’re what people remember. This October in RMRS - we’re focusing on signature details: - Accessories - Fabrics & Textures - Patterns - Grooming & Fragrance - Shoes & Final Touches - By the end of the month, you’ll see how small upgrades make the biggest impact. 👉 What’s the first detail people notice in your style?

I believe the color scheme of a man’s outfit is often the very first thing people notice, and after that, the details come into play. As you mentioned, the coordination of belts with shoes is quite crucial, and this applies to the watch in case its strap is leather as well. What fascinates me is that most of these subtle details are identified subconsciously rather than being observed on a conscious basis. Take shoes, for example: they’re one of the most decisive factors in forming a first impression, yet most people don’t consciously observe or think about them. Instead, the impact happens on a deeper level that is felt at the very first perception. For me, the most interesting ‘signature detail’ is how the patterns or even plain colors of a tie, pocket square, and shirt can complement each other to create harmony in a dressing style 😇
