Today I had a beautiful conversation with @MamaJ Hollows during the Community Café in the 3PGB community. It was just the two of us, which gave us space to catch up properly after being together in Prague for the Listening Summit. One thing that struck me was how powerful it is to speak with someone I trust deeply and who doesn’t judge me. It creates a space where I can hear myself more clearly and notice growth that I can feel internally but haven’t fully recognized intellectually yet. During our conversation, I realized that for quite some time coaches in my network have been coming to me for support with their clients, difficult coaching situations, questions around confidence, authority, communicating insights, measuring impact, and stepping more fully into their power as coaches. This has been happening so naturally that I hadn’t stopped to recognize it as a significant skill and contribution. ( New level unlocked 🔓 welcoming this new chapter into my life with openness and curiosity 🥰) As I shared what has been unfolding in my life over the past months, Mama J reflected back something I couldn’t quite see for myself: how much confidence I have developed as a coach. She mirrored the way I now speak about my work, the impact I have on people, and the certainty with which I show up in the world. I know for sure that it has a lot to do with me being part of this group for the past year showing up consistently and being open to listen and learn with Mama J and other members here, thank you all so much 🙏🏻 There is something incredibly powerful about being seen by someone you admire, trust, and consider a role model. When they reflect your growth back to you, it provides a deeper sense of confidence, steadiness, trust, and backbone. I also loved hearing about the new areas of life Mama J is exploring and witnessing her own growth and evolution. My heart is full of gratitude for our friendship and for the opportunity to share such honest conversations together.
