Hey @Karin Crawford. I think my biggest challenge is managing time. My next steps are kinda clear. Develop high ticket offers, improve my social presence, do paid traffic, create a website and keep increasing the prices as I grow. All of that would dramatically increase my income but the hard part is organazing the time to do that.

hey @Misty Pastilock. Not trying to do it all at once. Coudn't even if I tried. I actually have a sequence of goals that I need to achieve. Next one is reaching 1000 members. With a 1k plus communiy in my portfolio, I'll have much more credibility to get more clients and sell them the high ticket offers I have in mind. Untill them my focus is on getting that extra reach. And I'm about 20% of the way there already
This is me on YouTube!
And that's a big deal! I suck at being on camera, had a terrible setup and everything worked against me. I'm also super tired. But none of that can be an excuse. I did it anyway, because there is no worse time to start something you should do than an uncertain tomorrow.
🔥 GATHER 'ROUND, FRIENDS!
Everybody — welcome our Resident Expert, @Paulo Costa, The Roaster , aka THE ROASTER! 👏 In Paulo's own words: "Nothing but a humble servant to the Dragon Roasty." 🙇🔥 Translation: this man runs "Roast & Promote," where he gives brutally honest feedback on your business (the GOOD kind of brutal — the kind that actually helps you grow). 💡 If you're tired of people being too polite to tell you the truth about your website, offer, or content — Paulo's about to change that. He roasts WITH LOVE. 💛🔥 Drop in, say hey, welcome him in! Stoked you're here, Paulo 🙌

The very first step to start a business
Is validating your idea. Knowing if people will buy what you sell. There are a few different ways to do that, but they are either slow or expensive. Counting on family and friends usually backfires, as they will often discourage you, because they don't understand, or give fake validation because they don't want to hurt your feelings. You can pay for consultants to tell what you should do and auditors to point out the flaws in your work. That's expensive. You can also test by advertizing everywhere, but that takes a lot of work, and also money if you do paid traffic. So what is the alternative? Conect with people on communities like this one or mine, so people can validate what you're building without the need to pay for expensive professionals to do so. Seek out to people yourself by building real connections. Don't spend your time just wondering what you should be doing and bashing your head, thinking you should figure everything out by yourself. Test things out, seek feedback, apply what you learn and keep improving! What is the main thing you'd like to get feedback on?

@Roy Houston A big reason for why my communinty is very engaged, is because I make it very clear how I want people to approach it, right by the name: Roast & Promote. Your community is focused on what you provide, so people will come looking for content to consume, not to demand solutions, as you don't make it stupid clear that's what you want from them. So maybe rebranding it to make it clear that you want people to come to you with DYI questions would make a lot of different.

@Roy Houston yeah both would be great. but you do need to change your about page so people can already expect that when joining, or better yet, join because of it.
