Embracing my inner weirdo
@Georgiana D said something in another post (I’m not sure hotel to tag it on my phone) that got me thinking. Paraphrasing she said instead of suppressing our inner weirdo why not embrace and smooth it. This got me thinking that when we don’t love all the parts of ourselves we are suppressing a part of ourselves that may actually help other people become more comfortable and love theirselves more by seeing you love and accept the parts of yourself that may seem weird. Love yourself completely. You may be the example that someone else needs to see! 💚💚💚

Awe thanks for the shout-out... I've really been trying to be kinder to those parts of me. They have some good stuff to show!

Let's build some engagement
This is a community, and that means it belongs to all of us, not just me. I believe that the best way to create engagement within a community is for everyone to have a voice, and the best way for you to have a voice in the community is to express it. We're all hear to Embrace Our Inner Weirdos and create a Freedom Lifestyle - to be able to live life on our terms. What is your definition of Freedom Lifestyle? Who is Your Inner Weirdo that the world needs to know? What have you learned that others can learn from? In the past seven days, you, the members of this community created eight posts, and that is awesome. I would love for this to be YOUR community. Feel free to share your dreams, plans and activities. Tell us how you're making a difference in the world, and how we as a community can support you in your efforts to add good to the world. I firmly believe that the Universe pays the Highest Returns on what you put in. The more you give to others, the more the universe conspires to support and enable you to do that. I am taking @Shawn Ziem 's lead and what he is doing in his Community and I am going to create a Master Post every week to highlight the contributions made by the members of Our Community. Self promotion is not only acceptable, it is encouraged. My only request is that don't make it a blatant promotional post. Add value to the community and let us know where we can find more such value or how we can support you. @Abe Bray @Adam McCollough @Arthor Pendragon @Ben Sherry @James Bansbach @George Benson @Christina Brady @Christina Joy @Angel Conway @Georgiana D @Eileen MacDonell @Harold Faulkner @Leigh Ann Hello @Katinka van Kan @Krista Brea @Krista Melanson @Tommy Kenyon @Lisa Black @Mark Lawrence @Matt Landry @Mike Bayer @Rena Nicole @Pamela Lynch @Rebecca Bautista @Shawn Ziem @Stefan Bösebeck @Joshua Tennefrancia @Val Vosburg @Zachary Wilson @z

I saw some quote the other day that said something like....Instead of trying to quiet the cringiest part of you, why not try to soothe the part that does the cringing. :) Embrace some of the weirdness--who knows what wonderful things will come out as a result. :)
Get out of your comfort zone?
A very common advice is "get out of your comfort zone" Do you believe that's a sound advice? why or why not?

I think that there is a sweet spot. Too far out of the comfort zone and we may withdraw. Too much in the comfort zone and we don't grow
Do you think you're too old?
A lot of people in their forties believe that they're too old and have missed the boat. Heck, I have even heard 30 somethings say the same thing. All I can say is you guys don't have enough experience to be saying that. I walked the entire distance of Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica, California when I was 62 years old. my friend @Mike Bayer started his YouTube channel when he was 80 years old and says it's the best decision that he ever made. He just uploaded this video earlier today. Watch it and tell me what you think, in the comments. @James Bansbach @Jack Robinson @Arthor Pendragon @Aslam Khatri @Guy Bandy @Georgiana D @Eileen MacDonell https://youtu.be/iz536T5pnvQ?si=Rto3gG7bz8G0GIHm
