🏝️ Work From Home… or Live While You Work?
There’s a version of “freedom” no one talks about. The one where you leave your 9–5… only to find yourself working more Or the one surrounded by laundry, dishes, and “one more thing.” Working from home can quietly turn into: 👉 endless to-do lists 👉 blurred boundaries 👉 your business becoming your whole identity Because you’re always there… you just keep going. But this week in Florida reminded me of something different. When you shift into a more nomadic mindset — even temporarily — everything changes: ✨ You give your work a container ✨ You make faster decisions ✨ You prioritize what actually matters ✨ You stop chasing every idea ✨ You go outside, explore, connect, live You still get your work done. You just don’t let it take over your life. And here’s the truth… It’s not really about where you are. It's about how you choose to show up inside your life and business. You don’t need a plane ticket to do this. But you do need boundaries, intention, and a willingness to not do everything. So here’s the question: Are you building a business that keeps you at home working…or one that lets you actually experience your life? 👇 Drop your answer below:

@Miranda Adams, that's me too right now! When my husband retires in a couple of years (hopefully), it will all shift and I'm hoping to do more living while I work!

I'm posting a "promot" for Chat GPT right away if you want to try it out. :-) Then feel free to upload your results here. If you don't want to use Chat GPT, you can simply upload a few real pictures. Pictures that show your life right now. I'm curious. Here's the Chat GPT prompt: "Please create a portrait image of me based on all the information you already have about me. So a kind of vision board, or rather a live board. Include everything you've already noticed from our conversation so far in this image. Create this image in the cartoon Pixar style." I'll post mine in the comments

@Michele Hoover, thank you! I also love blue butterflies, but they don't have particular meaning for me. Not sure why Chat GPT chose it! I did get to see one in the wild once when I was in Costa Rica. Unforgettable experience!
You’re not unmotivated—you’re depleted!
Before you set big goals for 2026, let’s figure out what’s secretly draining your energy. In this short video, I’m breaking down why most of us are so depleted—and why spotting your personal energy drains is the first (and most powerful) step to changing that. If you want more capacity, creativity, and clarity in 2026, this is where it starts. 👇 After you watch the video, grab the quiz that shows you where your energy is going (and how to start taking action to get it back). Take the Quiz!

@Brenda Rigney, since most of the women I work with are in corporate jobs, I'd say work is the number one category, but people is a close second. We often have relationships in our lives that are really draining. But, it's different for everyone! That's why it's key to dig in and figure out which drains are affecting you.
Intro 👋
Hello everyone! Following the directions for the intro post: #1 – Hi, I’m Jennifer 😊 I’m originally from Denver, CO but I’ve moved around a bit. I’m now settled in College Station, TX. I own a virtual bookkeeping firm that specializes in small home services (think cleaning, plumbing, handymen, etc) and real estate investors. #2 – One area of my business where I’m craving more clarity and alignment is in my client acquisitions. I grew a lot last year with straight word of mouth referrals. This year, im not growing anymore and I want to find a more sustainable and consistent way to gain clients. I feel like im chasing, not attracting, and that’s just not the vibe for success. #3 – One little ritual that helps me get into flow is making a new beverage, lighting a citrus-y scented candle to energize my nervous system, putting my devices on DND, and setting a timer for 30 min to start an uninterrupted work block. I’m really looking forward to meeting some new friends in here 🤩 I love connecting with business owners and chatting about anything and everything!

Three patterns that keep us stuck
Hello! I wanted to take a moment to share a few patterns that show up in life and leadership, and invite you into my free skool community to explore a bit more. In my coaching work, I see three patterns show up again and again: the Over-Prover who keeps doing more to earn what they’ve already achieved, the Drifter who’s pulled in every direction and losing sight of what actually matters, and the Over-Analyzer who’s stuck gathering just a little more data before they can move forward. These aren’t flaws or weaknesses—they’re the predictable traps we fall into when we’re carrying too much complexity alone. If you recognize yourself in any of them, you’re not the only one. That’s exactly why I created the Recentered Leader Collective on Skool: a place to make sense of what you’re navigating, reconnect to what matters, and grow alongside women who are doing the same. Come join us. https://www.skool.com/recentered-leader-collective-7474/about

Oh, yes! Over-analyzer right here! Thanks for pointing out how common these thought patterns are and reminding us there are other ways to be and think!
