This song hits me differently every time I hear it. I know the original story behind it is tied to 9/11 and a daughter growing up without her father. But for me, it serves as a reminder of something else... A few months ago, I had to take a hard look at my life and ask myself a difficult question: "What happens if I don't change?" At my highest of 438 pounds, high blood pressure, low energy, and struggling with mobility, I realized I wasn't just shortening my own life—I was potentially stealing years from the people who matter most. I didn't lose the most weight in the challenge. I did lose 25lbs though during the contest and have lost about 12-14 lbs per month since January... But I'm winning something far more important... Consistency. The weight is coming off every week. My energy is coming back. The edema is gone. My mobility is improving. And most importantly, I'm becoming more present for my family. These are my 6 reasons: ❤️ Brittany❤️ Liam❤️ Asher❤️ Lexi❤️ Anthem❤️ Victory They're the reason I get up early. They're the reason I choose the healthier meal. They're the reason I keep showing up when I don't feel like it. Because this journey isn't really about losing weight. It's about making sure my kids don't have to grow up wishing they had more time with their dad. One day at a time. One pound at a time. One better decision at a time. 357 and still moving in the right direction. #Reset60 #WeightLossJourney #FamilyFirst #HealthIsWealth #PickleballSavedMyLife #ConsistencyWins
